 Creating animation in Macromedia Dreamweaver:

  1. First, It's very simple :-).
  2. In DW animation is created using timelines with the help of layers. I have used "kicking dancing baby"(animated gif) for these example.
  3. Now let us start, First draw a layer and place a object (like a image) in it, you want to animate. Keep in mind, that there should be one object per layer.
  4. Position the layer at the starting point. Here make sure that the layer is selected.
  5. Choose Modify > Timelines > Record path of layer.
  6. Drag the layer to the end-point of your animation; DW will create the animation for you in the Time Palette. Note you will be getting a Messagebox saying that it will not be seen properly in Netscape Navigator 4.0, just click OK.
  7. Choose autoplay in the Time palette to start the animation on to the browser and autoloop to play it continuously.
  8. To view the animation in action, press F12 to view it in Browser.
  9. That's why I said it's Simple, still have any doubts or problems feel free to mail me.

Hope these session will be usefull and send your comments. All the logo, screenshot including the red circle are created by me(excpet the baby).
