                       This event is organized *for* Bandsters *by* Bandsters.

              TheAdjustable Gastric Band is a very simple device attached to very complicated
              people ;-)...and this can make managing your band a very individual experience;
              but, we can almost always learn from other people's experience, and this is what
              this event is all about, talking, listening, and learning from other Bandsters who
              have "been there done that."

              It also gives us a chance to put a face to an email name, and to rekindle old
              friendships. But most of all you come away feeling rejuvinated, motivated, and
              more determinded than ever. It's a great shot in the arm!
              
             We especially welcome those of you who are seriously considering this surgery
              and have not quite taken that leap of faith. Come and  meet many wonderful
              men and women who have lost 70, 100 and yes even 200lbs or more. Hear why
              it's being called the "thinking persons surgery" and learn what it takes to
              become a successful Bandster.

             We are privileged to have speaking  Dr, Pedro Kuri Santiago. (Other speakers
              will be announced shortly.) We will also hear from a plastic surgeon who will do
              a presentation and/or answer questions about Plastic Surgery after weight loss.
             We will have Bandster Discussions on every banding subject you can think of,
              and in the meantime, if there is something that you have on your mind, or
              subject matter that you would really like discussed, then please go here and
              mention the subject, we will make every effort to get it answered or discussed
              at the VBB.

             Patricia, (PtcHedtke) has also graciously agreed to speak for us.  Patricia (as you
              know if you read the Bandster boards) has lost over 200 lb and will tell us all how
              she did it, and answer questions about her amazing Band journey.
