KSig Mod

This is basically just a modification of Hasnain's KSig program, if you don't know how to use any of the features not mentioned here, then i suggest you try asking at his forum or at the klite forum (both links are on the left hand menu)

Ksig Mod Installation

You must be using Klite 2.4 or higher and you must have previously installed Ksig (comes packaged with kazaa lite), then simply extract the executable from Ksig mod to the directory where ksig is installed thereby replacing the previously installed Ksig executable.

Ksig Mod Added Features

The 2 visible additions i've made to ksig are highlighted in the screen shot above
Generate Just CRC: when clicked this generates the CRC hashes of a file and sends this information to the clipboard
Create CRC Hash check: when ticked, clicking on one of the lines to generate a quicklink will also generate the CRC hash information and integrate it into the quicklink in a bacwards compatible format.

KSig mod is also set up to deal slightly differently with quicklinks that have crc hash information. Basically it creates a folder in your kazaa home directory (where klite is installed) and stores the CRC information in a .crc file in that folder. This file will be automatically checked and read by KChecker, slightly increasing the amount of automation involved in the process.

Ksig Mod Downside

There is only one downside to using Ksig Mod and that is that Kazaa can no longer be the default handler of quicklinks. This means that any downloads triggered by quicklinks will only appear in the traffic window after a restart of kazaa.
