One of the special joys of Tatay was when Nong Saldy (Salvador T. Sabio) passed in 1973 the Bar Examination.  Tatay's wish when he was a young man was to study law since he wanted very much to be a lawyer himself, but the poverty of his parents prevented him from pursuing that career.
