"Greatest HitsVol.2"-released in 1982 on MCA,EMI and Toshiba/EMI Released in Australia as "Greatest Hits Vol. 3" on Festival/Interfusion From "Grease" to "Physical" Olivia's magic shines even further with a couple additional songs including "Tied Up." And yes the Xanadu hits are here too! |
"Two of A Kind" Soundtrack-released in 1982 on MCA Olivia teams up with Travolta once again..the songs are great including "Twist of Fate." with a Bruce Springsteen-like driving beat...but the chemistry somehow just doesn't click in this film about two young adults who despise each other following a haphazard bank robbery attempt. With the assistance of an angel,(played by the late Scatman Crothers) he and his celestial freinds somehow manage to help the two become freinds and lovers before divine chastisement may fall upon the human race. Though the film bombed, the message is clear.... Love wins out in the end and we are still in a time of grace! |
"Soul Kiss"-released in 1995 by MCA,EMI,Toshiba/EMI and Festival/Interfusion. Two singles are relased from this album but go nowhere despite some heavy promotion...only a few thousand units are sold. With the emergence of Madonna on to the pop scene,Olivia dumps her sexy diva image once and for all. Olivia marries up with Matt Lattanzi and daughter Chloe is born. Olivia with old freind Pat Carroll Farrar team up to start a Aussie themed women's clothing store called "Koala Blue" and it is so successful it branches out into other major American cities. OLIVIA TRIVIA: Q:"Soul Kiss" was offered to another singer originally but refused it. Who was it? A: Tina Turner(who was also managed by Roger Davies at the time) |
