He married Jane LOGAN at St Anne's Church in Belfast, Nth Irl, 21 December 1808. Jane was born circa 1789. Jane died 20 December 1860 in Co. Antrim, Nth. Irl., at 71 years of age.

Edward GLENFIELD and Jane LOGAN had the following children:

4 i. Eleanor³ GLENFIELD was born in Ireland circa 1809. Eleanor died 30 September 1879, at "New Bath" in Carrickfergus, Nth Irl, at 70 years of age. She married Thomas ("Whinfield" and "Glenfield") JOHNSTONE in Carrickfergus, Nth Irl, 2 November 1830. Thomas was born in Carrickfergus, Nth Irl circa the end 1800. Thomas was the son of Robert JOHNSTONE and Elizabeth IRWIN. Thomas died 13 October 1872, at "New Bath" in Carrickfergus, Nth Irl, at 72 years of age.
