Yuk Yuk's Amateur Night

Here we are folks, the beginning of the odyssey. Igloo Harras decides to see if he can cut it being under the hot lights on stage! Under the guise of Art Thomas, Igloo debuts being in front of a live crowd! He is not sure what to expect. The crowd sit in silence, and Igloo deals with the self made pressure he has created.

He has a couple of beers to settle his nerves, and hear's his stage name, "Art Thomas" called. Into the lime-light he goes.

Igloo is nervous, but he projects his voice, he is calm, and he is articulate. He might talk a little fast, but the crowd can still understand him.

His 5 minute original set is based around all the different types of comics out there, and he gives a sample of each. There is the shy comic, the drunk comic, the mean comic who picks on the weak. There is a character comic, and also an observational one. Igloo gets some laughs, and the audience is aware this is his first time on stage, so they go easy on him, no hecklers!

Igloo isn't sure if he has made an impression on the people once he see's the red light flashing, his sign to get off the stage. So he says thanks, and as he exits, he purposely walks into the door frame and lands flat on his back! Everybody thinks it's real, and Igloo is satisfied that they won't forget him!

Interestingly enough, 2 weeks later, another amateur comic copied Igloo's exit!
