It was a spontanious performance, not actually planned, but executed perfectly. Igloo was doing his "Geek Bouy" character. He had his hair all slicked back with bear grease, and was wearing his over-sized shop glasses from high school. He wore his fathers 60's bathing trunks, and a very loud Hawaiian T-shirt. There were people sunning on the beach, and enjoying the warm Lake Huron water. Igloo was loud, and acting like a total geek, running from the waves like they might melt him, and "accidently" stepping on little kids sand castles.
Suddenly, Geek Bouy realizes that a lens has fallen from his shop glasses, and he yells out for help, because "My mom is gonna frickin' kill me and won't let me in the house if I lose another lens from my glasses!". Before you can say Igllo Harras, there is about 5 people, total strangers, out wading in the shallow part of the water looking for a clear shop glass lens, that was in Igloo's pocket the whole time.
The joke went on for 5 or so minutes, and then Igloo, as Geek Bouy, yells out, found it! Thanks!
A woman comes up to Igloo, kind of ticked off, and says to him, "Are you really like this, or is this a put on?"
To which Igloo responded is a crisp British accent, "Not a put on so much, but an experiment into the psyche of the good samaritan."
And the woman relies, "Go f*** yourself!" A fan is born!
There were many other fun moments on the Blake Point beach that summer, songs, skits, and other such fun, but we will leave that for the official biography in the years to come!
