One of the first things the earliest man learned in the dawn of creation is sound. It received its first incentive when man first noted the beauty of the sound of nature - our first musician.

The tweeting of the birds frolicking in the golden sun, the rumbling thunder, the rushing waters in the brooks and the lapping of the waves, the sound of the trees when a mild wind blows, and a thousand other voices of nature found their outlet in music.

Music is a universal language of mankind. It is a venerable gift that is soul-searching and soul-fulfilling. It has that incomprehensible charm of touching the hearts of people regardless of their nationality, color, language or religious affiliation. It has the power to awaken the most benevolent and also the most sublime, emotions of men. Truly, music can alter our outlook in life beyond our highest expectations.

WHAT IS HEALING MUSIC?

We human beings are furnished with autonomous powers of self-healing. As a result, even when our minds  become fatigued through endlessly busy days of existence, we fundamentally have the ability to restore our spirits momentarily. Unfortunately, those self-healing powers also have their limits. When pressed too far they rebel, and are prevented from performing their original functions. Sometimes, it is necessary to provide a bit of stimulus to restore those healing functions, and music is one way of providing that stimulus.
