"ILAN" in Hebrew means tree.
ILAN is a voluntary organization that takes care of the children born with physical disabilities due to CP or other Neuro Muscular disorders. When ILAN was founded, 50 years ago the main target was to help the children that were disabled by the Polio Epidemy. Through time ILAN continues to help the handicapped and struggles to raise money and initiate activities to improve their life.
All this is done with the help of good people that volunteer for ILAN and other good people that donate money to ILAN.
Thanks to these kind people ILAN has become one of the most important non profit organization in Israel and is now taking care and helping in the rehabilitation of around 15,000 handicapped in all the country. ILAN helps the handicapped thourgh various frameworks like educational institutes live-in homes and sport centres.
