| SALAIYUR SHAFI MOSQUE Salaiyur Shafi Mosque is started during AD 1775 in Salaiyur on the way to Mallipattinam. There is a story for this mosque which says, the famous Spritual Leader of yesteryears Kolumbu Aalim alias Syed Mohamed has founded 300 mosques in his life time. This mosque is one among the 300. Now, this mosque is being reconstructed. We give below some of the pictures of its consturction. |
