Hobbit Abuse
Aside from regular physical abuse, Hobbits also suffer from abuse due to malnutrition, being kindnapped and taken on strange journeys, and abuse by Hobbit Trainers.  Hobbit abusers come in a wide range of shapes and sizes, however they are quite frequently rather tall, dressed in black, and armed with pointy swords.  If you see these Hobbit Abusers about, you would wise to run as they not only abuse Hobbits but other beings as well.  Of course, they're after Hobbits and they will stop at nothing to get them.
While Hobbitnapping is obviosly illegal, the Shirrifs of the Shire have a hard time preventing it.  Hobbits are frequently taken away from the Shire by force by shady looking characters, often with large pointy hats.  No one really knows what becomes of Hobbitnappees, however it can be guessed that their fate is not a pretty one as they seldom return.  When they do return, they are often are very different and tend to act rather strangely.  PETH is also dedicated to ending Hobbitnapping as all Hobbits should be able to live safe lives in the Shire without having to worry about being dragged about by some strange Hobbit Abuser.
Malnutrition can be a big problem with Hobbits as they love to eat.  When they don't get enough food they get depressed, unhappy, and weak.  Lack of proper nutrition is a leading cause in Hobbit illnesses, especially in these later days of general Hobbit Abuse where food is often taken from the Hobbits that need it.  PETH is dedicated to making sure all Hobbits have enough to eat so they will not suffer from malnutrition or starvation.
Hobbit trainers, like the one on the left, are also a major threat to Hobbit happiness.  Hobbits do not need to be trained!  They are perfectly happy being raised by Hobbit parents and living quiet lives in the Shire.  However, some people believe Hobbit Training helps to improve the usefullness of Hobbits.  Hobbits should not have to be useful, and Hobbits do not need to be taught certain social skills by Hobbit Trainers.  Hobbit Training can also be a cruel process in which the Hobbits partake in some suffering until they yield to the trainer.  Of course, luckily, Hobbits can be untrained and our law suits against Hobbit Trainers are ensuring that less and less Hobbits are getting trained each year.  PETH is dedicated to ending Hobbit Training to ensure Hobbits can live their happy, quiet lives in the Shire free from all forms of abuse.
