today, January whatever, 2005 umm one cool kid's lyrics are pretty bad but the whole song is SARCASM, making fun of ppl including ourselves.. the line "especially those stupid preps" is me mocking those judgemental morons who claim they detest "Prrreps"..ignorant ppl make me sick..ughhh..if u don't get it and ur in the band then i don't wanna imagine other ppl's reactions when they read it -P. For the horn part idk how to transpose it to an Eb instrument... and kat can't play sax and bass at the same time...hmmm.....anyway, we're having practice on Thursday, and if we don't play a show this month, I'm quitting. I don't care if it's at someone's garage and only 5 ppl come... I mean it. I'm sick of us spending SO much time on this band and going nowhere. ~Phuong Wednesday, October 20, 2004 It has been exactly one year since our first practice in Beka's basement. It seems like just yesterday when we were young, naive little eighth graders. Throughout this year, we've played exactly one show -a small family and friends get-together. Sadly enough, I still say we've come a long way and made much progress. None of us have had prior experience in being in a band before. I had only been playing guitar for seven months, and Kat didn't even have a bass... And idk about whit and beka...who cares about them? Well anyway I suck at writing these things! So we practiced stuff and aaaaargggghhh I wanna go to bed. Long story short: We've been through a lot and blah blah stuff like we're always gonna stick together and crap. We're a lot better now and we desperately need parties and houses to play at. if anyone has a house they can let us borrow on the 29th we shall swallow you in hugz!! -Phuong P.S. haha remember me and kat running down the street after my dad's car?? lol yea we've had good times...such as VITO!!! and the prank calls...let's hope he never goes on this site. |
