Seedy private eye Rafe Guffman is hired to locate the missing brother of a beautiful young Bible-toting woman named Katherine.  His search leads him to a local whore-house, where the lad went with a friend a few nights before.  Rafe finds that the whores are all vampires, led by the beautiful Lilith, the mother of all vampires.  Lilith is being controlled by Katherine's boss, a pompous preacher, who believes that the only way to get rid of sin is to kill the sinners.  When Lilith finally gets out from under the preachers control, she goes on a rampage, and it's up to Rafe, Katherine, and the preacher to stop her.
Tales from the Crypt Presents:
Fat Tuesday
(aka Dead Easy)
Sadly this is a movie that we will never see.  It was originally supposed to be the 2nd "Tales" movie, and it apparently was filmed, but the studio put the kibosh on it before it could be seen.  I have posted a scan of an old magazine article about the movie.  I also posted a RUMOR that I found online about why it will never be seen.  I stress the word rumor with this.   Click the link below for all of the info that I have on Fat Tuesday.

Secrets Of The Cryptkeeper's

Haunted House
This was an Emmy winning children's gameshow in which contestants had to face virtual reality challenges for prizes.  This also ran for a season on CBS (and again, I never got to see it).  Below are some pics from the show.
The Spin-Offs
Tales from the Crypt had two spin-off shows in the 1990s.  Neither show was successful and were promptly cancelled.  Here is some brief info on both of them.
Two-Fisted Tales
This show's three episode pilot aired on Fox on January 18, 1992.  The show was based on the EC Comic "Two-Fisted Tales" from the same line that "Crypt" comes from.  The ratings were so horrible, that Fox immediately cancelled the show.  The three episodes that were aired - "Showdown", "King Of The Road" and "Yellow" - ended up being spun into the third and forth seasons of Tales from the Crypt.
Perversions Of Science
This second "Crypt" spin-off was based on the science fiction line of EC Comics and ran during June and July of 1997.  It was originally supposed to be titled "Weird Science" after the comic book, but there was already an old movie with that title, so they couldn't use it.  This show had a lot of the same type of horror and humor that "Crypt" had, but it did not catch on with the audience.  The show was cancelled after only one season of ten episodes.  Sadly, one of the reasons that HBO cancelled "Crypt" was in order to bring the focus to this show.  Click the Perversions of Science link for more info!
