In Loving Memory
(Please wait while music loads)
Dorothy Tulk
10.05.1927 - 22.12.2005
These candles are lit in Remembrance of the life of Dorothy Tulk (My Mother).
These lights bring those left behind strength and peace.
Their warmth reminds us of the memories we shared together.
Their light shows new beginnings for us all...
This page is a Memorial Tribute to my loving mother Dorothy Tulk whose light left this world December 22nd, 2005.
I have never known a kinder, more loving woman than my Mother, she selflessly gave in life and even in death.
The absence of her presence in the lives of those she touched will never heal, she will be sorely missed always...
I love you Mum..
Fill not your hearts with pain and sorrow, but remember me in every tomorrow.
Remember the joy, the laughter, the smiles.
I've only gone to rest a little while.
Although my leaving causes pain and grief, my going has eased my hurt and given me relief.
So dry your eyes and remember me, not as I am now but as I used to be.
Because, I will remember you and look on with a smile.  Understand in your hearts, I've only gone to rest a little while.
As long as I have the love of each of you, I can live my life in the hearts of all of you....
**The song you hear playing is "Prayer of Saint Francis" by Sarah McLachlan.
It was Mum's and my favourite hymn together... one we could agree on at least. lol.  I played it to her each day in the hospital and dedicated it to her at her funeral.
This song also describes Mum's attitude to all those around her, to sum it up her philosophy to do EVERYTHING with love...
