There is a Rockingham County deed dated May 1874 that involved Alamance County probate. Many thanks to Bea Mansfield who provided the copy of the deed. This deed also provided us with the names of two daughters and their husbands and also uncovered the name of another son. Bea also provided a copy of a marriage certificate that also provided the name of even another son we had not been aware of. 7. Austin Isley, born circa 1806, married Mary Magdalene “Polly” Isley of Martin of Philip of Malachi. She was born 14 January 1809, died 10 October 1879, and is buried at St. Paul’s Lutheran Church Cemetery. She and Austin Isley posted a Marriage Bond on 26 December 1831.
