Outbound coexistence is used to extract the data from Oracle Financials and send it to the Legacy Systems for reconciliation.     ITSA Develops Internet based tools for comparative rating of insurance products offered by various insurance carriers. The technology enables insurance agents to assess risk and offer comparative quotes from various insurance carriers and issue insurance policies on line. The agents also service the policies through online billing, collection and processing claims. The transactional database was designed to enable quick adoption to carrier requirements and stored data as tagged question - answer pairs. However this was not suited for reporting to statistical agencies and carriers. Hence we developed an Operational Data Store (ODS) aimed at redesigning and normalizing the database for quick retrieval.

    Designed and Developed Stored Procedures, Functions, Creating Tables, Indexes, Triggers and Scripts for uploading from the Transaction Database to ODS. Tuning of the Database and Applications to speed up the process. Creating appropriate security for carriers to access only reevant data. Maintenance of ODS.

    Developed Applets using Java 1.2 and JDBC to help business analysts to enter the required data into the metadata tables. Business Analysts will enter the question detail id, column name and table name to which it is associated in ODS so that the next process can pick that column from the transactional system and put the data in the ODS.
