Jacqueline Howett, was born and educated in London, England. She was brought up in Wimbledon, where her parents divorced when she was twelve years old. Her mother a Greek lady gave her the gift of another language. Her father, a naturalist and gifted artist came from kent, England.  At sixteen Jacqueline Howett began her travels of the world. Disillusioned in becoming a prima ballerina overseas, at eighteen began writing  living at sea while married to a Greek Chief Officer who later died at an early age. Among visiting many countries like Egypt, Libyia, Lebanon and Israel by ship, she has also lived in Athens, Greece and Paris, France and Europe became her playground during her twenties with frequent visits to New York City & Fire Island. Since 1989 when she was in her thirties, she came to America to live. She continued writing and painting, and became a US citizen in Tampa, Florida in April 1993. Soon after she resided in Maine where she compiled a book of poems "Amorphous Angelic," that were first  written from 1983-1985 in London, England during her celibate/hermit repose. It was a time she seriously began to dedicate heself to her lifes works in a more mature form with writing plays, poetry, novels, and dabbled with  the violin, flute, guitar, piano, reading books, painting and practicing the healing arts after having been reconnected to her own identity and creative spirit through a death/rebirth experience. Her poetry book has sold in stores and at Borders/Amazon. She has written several novels and began to compile  numerous Plays and a collection of poetry after the loss of her mother in 1996. The poetry book, "My Greekside," presently put to the side began a new process in her own metamorphosis that marked the final transition upon her U.S.A. terra firma, with letting go of her old emotional ties with Europe to finaly start living in more awareness the American life. She hopes one day to compile a coffee book of her art works. Since March 1999 she had maintained several arts & literature sites such as JACQs WORLD & was the former Editor to ATLinkswith. In the late summer of 2000 she launched ATLinkswithPoetry on the internet. Her sites served as a media to promote others  while taking time out from the long haul of writing. These sites have become among many other  things the foundation where she is hoping to soon start promoting more aggressively her own wares. Jacqueline moved back to Florida in  2002 and is working on another novel,  which she hopes to publish at some point along with her other novels.
