One disturbing fact about online forum is users can use just about any ID or screen names to go along with their posts or articles. As expected, this privilege is badly abused in no-registration-required sites like Sarawak Talk and Randau Ruai. Among consequences resulted from the free use of names in the two sites are 'impostors' and 'multiposting' which can create quite a confusion and nuisance during forum almost everyday. In registration-required sites like Rumahpanjai.com and RuaiApai.net, another type of phoney or sham co-exist with the genuine users. One can easily start up another account and later login with two or three IDs at the same time. Imagine seeing the three different IDs 'talking' to each other. Now imagine the trio attacking one unsuspecting user during the hot debate ! That's fair NOT !

Well, there's one little compensation to that flaw - regular surfers can almost  identify who's who behind a post by studying the characteristics of his or her post, stlye of language, style of writing, the temperament, favourite topics and target readers, among others. Still it is a guessing game. It can be a wrong guess... but the audience is ready to forgive you.

We don't get to see many people like to stick to their first ID and take pride in that name for any longer than six months before resigning the screen name. There are three people, off course three different people, who are still using the same ID until today -- 007, Steve Porky and SFX. You see these names almost everyday for over half a year now. While Steve Porky had found solitude in Sarawak Talk, SFX and OO7 had ventured into new territory.
