The Brainteaser Experience
By James Aukett
There were gasps of amazement as I quickly glimpsed round the studio, whilst Craig commented on my performance. Not even I could believe how well I had performed, and when Craig went over to the phonelines for the viewers £1000 puzzle, Nicholas, who had managed to get through, said:
"I think he's unbelievable, isn't he?"
And so, was the end of that. I had won £3000, Nicholas had won £1000, and a shake of hands between myself and Craig signalled the end of the show. Cue the credits rolling, and immediately after the studio was taken off air, a round of applause came from everyone within it saluting my tremendous victory. Outside the studio where some of the production team congratulated me also, then back into the green room to regain my breath!

All the contestants received a batch of goodies ( comprising a mug, a soft mobile phone stress relief toy, a puzzle cube, a pen and a signed photo of Craig) for appearing on the show - I also received an additional souvenir of a piece of paper containing the answers from the pyramid, that was taken out of Craig's answer pad!

And so it was that I headed back home to London, with a frenzied amount of text messages coming through to my mobile, and the satisfied feeling that I was now £3000 better off. (Rest assured that I did not use the money for a drinking binge in Manchester!) Everyone I have spoken to about my appearance on the programme have all commended me on my performance, especially on the pyramid, which to me was just the icing on the cake. All in all, the experience of appearing on Brainteaser was just fantastic.
