About The Mint The Mint is an inteactive quiz show in which viewers play a variety of games in order to win various amounts of money,a select few will then go onto try their luck at the Mint Vault where they can win over £100,000 in addition to the amount they have won on a game,Sometimes Celeb guests drop in to have a chat to the presenters & to plug something. Mint History In the early days of The Mint people used to get a choice of having a go at the vault or going for an different easier jackpot game where they could win upto £10,000 in addition to the money they had already won in a game by randomly selecting hotpot lids/hats and possibly a few other things but basically you had find as many 0's as possible before finding the 1,Members of the public were also allowed to come on the show to play Treasure Island and win money,get a shot at the Vault & be involved with other games based on what job they all did etc. The Mint used to have its own spinoff series called The Extra Mint or as some people used to call it: The Mint Extra,This featured games such as Towers,Whats In The Bag & Wordsearches,They even had a jackpot game called The Mint Tea Jackpot(they did an Easter version aswell) in which people had to randomly select teapot lids and hope to spell out words,the longer the word the more money they won. The Games Current Snake words,Towers,Crosswords,Missing Link Words,Add all the numbers,complete the word(LA?? for example),Missing Number,Missing word/phrase(High___? for example) Classic Games 5 Rings,Treasure Island(Sometimes called Dowling Island),Say What You See,Wordsearches,Half Words,Whats In The Bag,Chinese Takeaway,Liar Game,? 4 word Link word game,Word Asociation game(played with non celeb studio guests) |
