Dear Diary, Hello! , I know it's been awhile, things have been BORING lately. Not much going on around here, we celebrated Thanksgiving today, which was fun. I like eating all day. My mom made Noelle, Nicholas and I, a carrot salad. (yum-yum) Then we got some apples and my favorite cookies. Then she gave us lots of extra hay. Boy am I full. I better go and take a nap. More soon. CB |

Dear Diary, Merry Christmas!!! This is my second Christmas. I've grown alot since my last one. I stand 14.3 hands and I weigh 900 lbs. I got a present for Christmas from Amy and Redford. Its a leather halter. Its horse size and guess what? It Fits! I e-mailed all of my friends a Christmas card. (see photo) and I gave all my friends at the ranch my favorite treat, apple snacks. I like to give presents. Noelle, Nicholas and I, celebrated Noelles' birthday today too. We all got brushed by Mom and then we had some apple snacks. Today is a good day.I like Christmas. Got to go. Dear Diary, Today, my mom was grooming me as usual, and then she put something on my back. She called it a saddle. At first it felt real funny, especially when she put something around my tummy to hold it on. She told me its ok, so I just stood there while she did it. I did'nt mind too much. It did'nt hurt. Then she took me for a walk and told me I am a good boy. I wonder why I had to have that on my back? I suppose I will find out soon enough. You never know with my mom. She is always up to something. She gave me lots of extra apple snacks for being so good. I think saddles are good as long as I get extra treats. Here is a picture of me with my saddle on. More later. Cowboy |

Dear Diary, Whew, This has been a long winter. We have had alot of snow, and cold. My mom puts us in the breezeway at night so we stay warm and dry. This week the snow finally started melting and it is getting warm. It's about time. I don't have much to report, but I keep hearing that my mom is going to "break" me as soon as the ground dries. I don't understand the word "break" but I don't like the sound of it. If any of you horses out there know about this word, please e-mail me and let me know whats up. |

Dear Diary, Hello again ! Last time I updated you, I was talking about being broke. Well I think I am starting to get the picture. Today, my mom put the saddle on, then she and Bill were putting their foot in it and going up. At first it was hard to keep my balance, but we kept trying and soon I could just stand there. They kept saying "good boy" to me so I guess thats what i'm supposed to do. I think they are wierd. But if thats what they want, so be it. I keep hearing two other things alot and now I am concerned about those words. One is "ride" and the other is "work". I don't know what those words mean. If you know, let me know. |
