Hey - Turn That Tie Off !!
Yep - That's Me - Caught In A Suit Once Again !!  In real life, I'm much more comfortable in a pair of jeans and a t-shirt.  Anyway, just in case you wondered, here's the run-down on me:

Basic Stats - I'm a 40 year old single (divorced) christian man, 5'5", 140 lbs., brown (starting to get some grey) hair, blue eyes, and living in Anchorage, Alaska.  I have three beautiful daughters who are 15, 13, and 10 years old who live with their mother about 45 miles north of here in Palmer, Alaska.  I have a BBA degree in accounting and work as the office manager (if it isn't selling 'em or fixing 'em - it's my job) at Saturn Of Anchorage.

My Faith - As stated above, I am a born-again christian who was saved by the grace of God when I was 14 years old.  Unfortunately, it wasn't until a few years ago that I began to attempt to live my life according to God's will.  I've still got a long way to go, but I'm grateful that God is patient and will never give up on me.  I'm not the evangelistic type, so don't expect me to try to drag you kicking and screaming into heaven with me - that wouldn't work anyway.  Suffice it to say that "I know whom I have believed and am persuaded that He is able to keep that which I've committed unto Him against that day".  I can only hope and pray that you will come to know Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior also.

My Family - I happen to be privileged to be the father of the top three most beautiful young ladies in the entire world !!!  And not only are these three young ladies beautiful, but they're also very talented at fishing - one of their father's favorite activities.  Unfortunately, I don't get to see them often enough as they live with their mother; however, they still are and always will be my sweethearts.  Just click on the link for my daughters to see more of these beautiful girls.  Meanwhile I've got to find those shotgun shells as they are starting to grow up.

My Job - Most people think that working in an office is about as dull of a job as a person can have.  Slaving away, nine-to-five, day-by-day could get pretty boring.  Well, my job certainly does not fit into that mold.  First of all, I do not have any particular scheduled hours - my workday starts when I arrive and ends when I leave !!  I don't even get a second glance when I arrive at work at 10:00 am, 11:00 am, or even noon, because my co-workers all know that I'll be around long after they've all gone home for the day if necessary.  I certainly enjoy the flexibility of hours which I am allowed at my job, and the autonomy to do the job the way I think is best goes hand-in-hand with the flexible hours.  While a lot of what I do is repetitive, the car business is so complex that I'm always getting a curve thrown at me, so it keeps my job interesting.  And the people that I work with, they're a great group of folks.  And then, of course, there's the "team-building" excercises which the whole company is encouraged to attend every once in a while.  While most companies would be headed to seminars and the like, our "team-building" excercises over the past few years have included such items as playing laser tag and a halibut fishing charter !!  Needless to say, while we get a lot of work done at Saturn Of Anchorage, we also have a lot of fun doing it !!

My Hobbies -  Due to the fact that I work so much, I do not have time to get out and enjoy life so to speak.  However, when summertime rolls around I usually can be found on the side of various streams on the Kenai Peninsula or in the Matanuska Valley, surrounded by the three beautiful young ladies mentioned above, enjoying watching my daughters catch fish while I get skunked again !!  Seriously, I love to fish, especially with a flyrod, but I am lousy at it.  Then again, who really cares - my girls catch enough fish to keep the freezer stocked, and as long as I am able to enjoy the outdoors with them, it's worth it.
Other hobbies of mine include investing in the stock market (included here in the hobby section because I sure couldn't live on the low-budget high-finance activities in which I partake).  I also enjoy playing the guitar, an activity which I used to be fairly good at but have let slide over the years to the point where I can now only play for really good friends without being greatly embarassed.  I truly enjoy listening to a variety of music including blues (my favorite), rock, jazz, contemporary christian, and classical - practically everything except country and rap.  I also enjoy reading and studying my bible, which is probably the most productive activity which I can think of for anyone to perform.
