How to treat acne

Don't go to bed without washing your face!. Your skin heals most while you are sleeping and if you have got leftover makeup and dirt from that day sitting on your face, you will wake up with some break out on that face.

Also,
never sleep with your face directly on the pillow. The oils and dirt from your hair get on the pillow and then resting your face on the pillow may make you breakout the next morning.

Do not pick the zits on your face or try to squeeze them. This usually causes you to push the zit DEEPER into your skin, making healing time even slower and will cause SCARS!

Keep a clean face. Poor hygiene won't cause acne, but it certainly aggravates it. Wash your face twice per day. If you sweat after a sport game make sure you wash your face immediately.

Keep hair away from your face.

Do not ever pick at pimples! This can lead to scarring and more pimples.

Do not touch your face with your hands because this can spread gems.

Washing your face too much can stimulate sebaceous glands to produce even more oil. So don't do that.
Tired of acne products that just don't work?

Have you tried all the products for pimples? Have you tried the Proactiv Solution? Do they work? The answer is no! Most of them don't work at all and even if they work they just work a little. The cause of acne is overproduction of oil at its source! So don't just apply something on your face to treat acne. You can take out all the bacteria on your face but applied products can't stop oil production and acne will come back!

I've tried many products and they don't work at all... then I finally found out to treat acne...we must treat it at the root cause!

Without overproduction of oil, acne isn't possible and none of the other sub-causes can play even the slightest role in acne. Applied products fail because they cannot successfully regulate skin oils . The key to curing acne is stopping the overproduction of oil at its source. That's why Accutane (isotretinion) is so effective, but it has numerous side effects and other downsides. B5 on the other hand, has minimal side effects and is second only to Accutane (isotretinion) in terms of effectiveness.

Applied Skin Products: Cleansers, Toners, and Topical Treatments.

-The idea behind traditional applied skin treatments is to clean the skin of the excess oil and kill the bacteria. These have their drawbacks though.

While they're very effective at killing bacteria, the problem is it's impossible to kill them all. They regenerate very quickly. Fast enough indeed that it's only feasible to slow them down. The problem is there's a limit to how often you can wash your skin. If you could wash your skin every hour it would be enough to prevent bacterial re-growth to the point acne wouldn't be possible. Unfortunately, these products would burn away your skin at the same the time.

The other target focus of applied products is skin oil. This is the main reason applied products work to the extent they do. By eliminating what the bacteria feed upon it reduces their re-growth. The problem is, again, it's impossible to successfully regulate skin oils this way.

Maintaining the correct amount of skin oil is the key to stopping acne.
