Email & Online Support Groups

The Hope website along with our sister site, Hopeful Women ,offer variety of email support groups (click here for complete listing) for each step of your journey.  You can belong to more than one group if you wish.  It is kind of our "four step" plan for those on their journey from new losses to the joy of welcoming a subsequent baby to the family.  We hope you can find a group that suits your needs.  They are all wonderful groups full of loving, supportive people.  These are all Christian groups & while you do not have to be Christian to join, please remember this fact in all correspondence with the groups:) Cristin's Prayer A support group sponsored by the Hope Site for parents(mom's or dad's) who have had a loss of 20 or more weeks gestation, stillbirth, neonatal death or SIDS & for those losing children up to one year of age.(please note--it does not matter how long ago your loss was -this is not just for newly bereaved but for anyone needing support) Hopeful Conceptions is a group sponsored by Hopeful Women for women who are trying to conceive after a stillbirth or neonatal death. We adhere fairly closely to the definition of stillbirth, which is 20 or more weeks. Hopeful Pregnancies  Hopeful Women's pregnancy after loss email support group. This is for women who are pregnant after a loss of 20 or more weeks gestation, stillbirth, neonatal death or SIDS. Hope Parenting Partners another group sponsored & run by HOPE website.   We are here to support families parenting a subsequent child after a loss of 20 or more weeks gestation, stillbirth, neonatal death, SIDS(loss of child up to one yr of age). ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Other Loss Support Groups, Message Boards or Chats Rachel's Children Support for Christian women and those considering Christianity, following the death of a child through miscarriage /stillbirth/ neonatal death up to 6 weeks. We stand by the promise given to Rachel in Jeremiah 31:15-17 and encourage the sharing of God's Word, for in it we find hope for the future and joy in the knowledge that our babies live on in heaven. The Agape Way is for couples who have been told that their baby should be terminated because of a fatal defect. It is for parents who chose to keep their baby until God decides to take them home. Because we are a supportive community, we ask that you are respectful toward others and their pain, remembering that we are all at a different point in our grief journey and have made different decisions along the way Still Grieving-Email Support Group This group is to provide support to parents further in their grief.  Grief further down the road is different then early grief.  This group is not  trying to be exclusive but membership is limited to parents 6 months and further from their child's death.
