About Daniel
We first met Daniel McGowan in the TV movie, 'In his life: The John Lennon story'. He was chosen to play the role of young Paul McCartney. His performance in the movie was very good, as he looked so much like the real Paul McCartney. We hope we soon see other projects by Daniel, although it seems he wants to concentrate in music .
Personaly...
Dan was born in Chichester, in England. We moved to Wales when he was 13.He's been singing and acting from an early age, his parents run a local Drama group and we put on many shows a year in our town, Usk, including an anual Pantomine, which Dan has always taken part in, until his schoolwork got too much for him. Dan is passionate about Music and Drama, but prefers to spend more time working on his music, although he finds it easier to find acting work. He plays the guitar, Saxaphone, Drums and has the annoying but amazing ability to pick up any instrument and play it!!! Dan went to Durham university straight after his A-levels and did a four year course in French, which included living in France for a year. However, in the middle of his Degree, he got the part in 'In his Life: the John Lennon story' and had to take a year out from his studies. Finally, after 5 years, he gained his Degree in French last July! At the moment he has an office job in London, where he is living, but is always going to auditions in the hope of getting an acting job and taking part in plays along side his job.
