Chapter 1
Christy woke up one morning and decided to go over to her friend Jessies house.
Jessie opened the door with that silly look she has when she wakes up and smiled
to her friend. "Hey Christy! What brings you here so early?"shrugs. "I dont
know. Do you have any plans today?" "Well, my parents are on holiday and I was
wondering if I could go somewhere too, but I don't know" she said and asked
Christy if she wants a cup of tea."Sure." sits down and drinks some tea. "Want
to go shopping?" "Sure I do!" but then Jessie stopped for a moment and looked at
her father's old briefcase. What is it Jess?" looks at the briefcase too."My
father left me some money for a trip, and I was wondering if I can run away with
those!" Christy looked surprised at her words. Jessie wanted to run away from
home?"Run away to where?" "I always wanted to go to England, or Ireland! It will
be great if we go there! We'll start a new life!" Jessie opened the briefcase
and counted the money."This is awfully sudden.Are you sure this is a good idea?"
"No, I'm not sure" Jessie said and got up "That's why I ask you! ". Christy
thinks. "I dont know. How much money is there?" "Enough for two tickets and some
supplies I guess! Are you coming with me?" Jessie's eyes beged her friend to say
yes!"Sure, why not!" she smiles. Jessie jumps up and hugs her friend. "Oh, thank
you so much! We have to pack and make sure we don't forget anything!" she
started singing out loud while searching for a suitcase."Okay. Ill go home and
pack" leaves and packs all her things.
Chapter 2
Both girls were very excited about their trip. They met outside the airport.
Christy was a little frightened but she tried not to show it."I cant believe we
are doing this!" she said as she stepped onto the plane. Jessie didn't believe
it either but had a big smile on her face all the time. "What did you tell your
parents?" asked her friend."i havent told them anything yet!" grins. "Im not
going to worry about anytihng, Or Ill try not to." They got to their seats and
Jessie smiled saying "That's my friend" .She tapped Christy at her back and
tried to relax.Breathed trying not to be nervous about the plane ride. But
before she knew it, it was over and her and Jessie were stepping outside."It was
fun wasn't!" her friend asked and Christy tried not to be so sarcastic "yea,
sure!"."Im just glad to be on the ground again. Now, where are we going?"
Christy's guestion made her realise that she didn't know where to go. She had
found a hotel but didn't know how to get there! "hmm...we'll go outside and
search for a taxi" she said at last."Okay. I hope they know where we are going".
"Don't worry! I think I tell you that all the time! We are here to have an
adventure! Enjoy it!" said Jessie and got out. Christy followed with a worried
look."Enjoy it, huh? Ill try, I suppose." she looked at stores and bulidings as
they rode to their hotel.Thank God, the taxi driver knew where the hotel was, so
the two girls got there safe. But as they got there, Christy had another
surprise . "I'm sorry girls, we have only one room. Only one of you can stay
there!" "Isnt there a double bed?" Christy asked. "No, I'm sorry!" said the
reseptionist and Jessie screamed "I'll give you a reason to be sorry for!!""One
of us will have to sleep on the floor then. We cant split up." said Christy and
pulled her friend away from the man who was in danger with her near him. As they
went to the room, Jessie was talking to herself "No mister, you won't spoil my
fun! I'll overcome it!" "its ok. I will sleep on the floor, we can go out and
look for a better place to stay.""ok! thanks!" jessie said but she was still
mad. The next day, they both go out searching for a nice and cheap hotel. "Well,
I can't find any! I guess this is Dublin!""We will find somewhere to stay
eventually. Are we moving here?" "in Dublin? Yes" "We need to look for a job
then.""yes, you are right again! I didn't think of that!" she said and laughed
at her mistake. "We will seperate and meet again at this spot, at 3:00
alright?""Sure. Good luck!"The girls searched and searches for more than five
hours. When time reached 3:00, they met back in the place they said. Christy
asked Jessie tired. "Find anything?" "Yes, in fact ,I did. I found a house near
the airport. An old woman has it and she was really sweet. Actually it's two
flats and the one we want is on the second floor". "Great! Can we move in now?
The floor at the motel is very comfortable". "Yes, we can move anytime we want!"
jessie said and laughed at Christy's words."Great!" They walked back to the
hotel and left for their new home quickly.
Chapter 3
"This place is very cool! I like it! Good job Jess!".Jessie smiled and looked at
the house. The old lady came close and told them that they had a good choise."I
hope you don't mind, there is a guy living on the first floor" said the lady.
Christy shrugs "I dont mind. Is he nice?" "Well, he is a very good and handsome
boy. But he works too much!" she said again. Jessie wasn't paying attention."I
dont think that will be a problem. Thanks!" She thanked the lady and entered the
flat.She found her friend trying to tide up. "Looks really nice. I'm surprised
we can afford it!" Christy said and helped her friend, leaving the front door
open. Suddently, a big dog came running in. A voise from downstairs surprised
the girls."Hey!" She was startled by the huge dog and ran into the other
room."Wolf ! come here boy!" the young man said but when he saw Christy and
Jessie , he stoped. "Oh,I'm sorry! I didn't know that someone moved here!"
sticking her head out "Yeah we moved in today." The man smiled at Christy and
she felt her face all red. "Oh, welcome then! My name is Philip" he said and
gave his hand to sake with Christy's. Comes out of the other room to shake his
hand. "Im Christy, and thats my friend Jessie""Hello!" said waving her hand.
Philip apologised for the mess his dog had caused and left the apartment. "Did
you see that??" said Jessie and wincked to her friend."see what?" "How he looked
at you! It was like I wasn't even there!" she said smiling."dont be silly! He
probalby was just thinking about how silly i was to run from his dog." Jessie
laughed again and carried on working. "ok! But I won't stop believing that he
liked you!"she laughs. "All right. I guess we will see." For the rest of the
day, the girls were working on their new flat. Christy was very excited cause
she loved decorating and this was her great opportunity! At the end of the day,
both of them were exausted but the house was almost done.
"This looks great! Im very happy. But hungry!"
"I was thinking the same thing!" We have nothing to eat though. Do you think we
should go out to dinner?"
"Great idea. LEts go!" Grabs her purse and head outside. jessie followed her
with a big smile. Just around the corner there was a great Italian restaurant
and jessie wanted so much to taste the Italian spaggetti."This looks like a good
place" sits down at the table. The waitor comes and takes the orders. but after
a minute, jessie wisperes to Christy "Don't turn around! You won't believe who's
here!".
"Who?"
"The guy with the scary dog! Philip! And he has a very cute friend with him!"
jessie smiled as she had bad thoughts. Christy turns to look.Philip was siting
on the next table with a friend and he looked very handsome. Christy turned to
her friend and smiled! "Oh God, you're right!"
"Have they seen us?
"no, not yet! He would say something!" said Jessie."Do you think we should talk
to them?"
"I dont know. What would we say?
jessie didn't answer but got up and walked to them. Christy covered her face
with her hands. "Oh, hello! It's nice to see you here!" said and took a
surprised look when she saw Philip. She was a good actress! "oh dear"Christy was
very shy around cute boys. When Jessie got back to her seat, Christy didn't know
how to hide herself "what did they say?" ,"just hi! it seems they are talking
about something really serious!"
"Are they coming over to talk?"
"Well, I don't think so! The other guy wanted to tell Philip something
important. Maybe if you were there, he would talk!"laughs "No way Im going over
there! Im too shy." turns to look back at the boys. They both are looking her
way, they turn after seeing her looking.
"Good, I want to get out of here!" Leaves quickly.
"Its chilly out here! And I didnt bring a jacket." They got up to leave but
Philip's voise stoped them.turns to look
"Pardon us but can we join you?" looks at Jess "Uhh, we were just about to
leave."But jessie continues "about to go for a walk to the park! Do you want to
come?" Christy looks at Jess surprised. jess winckes as Philip and the other boy
agrees to go with them. "don't leave any chance slip away honey!" wispered to
her friend and got out.She walks by Jessie, not really looking at the 2 boys
following when she feels Philip looking at her.she turns around to face him with
confidence. He smiles at her and gives a look at his friend. Then the other boy
goes next to Jessie and they start talking.Christy tries to think of what to say
to the guy,looks up at Jess and the boy. "They seem to be getting along.. who is
he?
the boy gives his hand to jessie "I'm Daniel." she shakes his hand and tells her
name. "You are not from here right? I'm not Irish either!" Christy looks over at
Phillip.
"so, they seem to get along well! Tell me about you!" he asked her. "me? Well.
im from America, I love music and art. Nothing special. Tell me about you?"
"Well, I love music too, I play the guitar and I compose songs too! I was born
and raised in Dublin and I work as a salesman." Smiles at him. "Thats great."
says and her face turns red.
"Well, this is where I stay!" says Daniel and says goodnight to everyone. After
a couple of minutes the girls were in their house too. "What a wonderful
evening!' said Jessie and layed at the sofa.
