About John
Many people have spoken about
John Lennon but only a few of them understood who he really was.
A 16 year old boy from Liverpool who dreamed to be a famous
singer, did everything to make it possible. John was born on 9th
of October and he got his first guitar when he was 16. His first
band was Quarry men with his school mates and his second one was
Johnny and the Moondogs with Paul McCartney, George Harrison and
Steward Sutcliff. After he became famous with the Beatles, John
moved to America and lived there for the rest of his life. He had
his first son, Julian, with his first wife, Cynthia, and another
one, Sean, with his second and last wife, Yoko. John died at the
age of 40 in New York, on December 1980.
My brother's favorite John Lennon song is 'woman'. He says it's a
masterpiece in lyrics and music and I agree with him. John had
his way with understanding women. And although he wrote it for
his wife, these lyrics represent every woman's feeling about
their man. My brother called it just a brilliant inspiration
