I first wanted to thank you for your wonderful comments
in my guestbook, and am glad you liked the snake story. Thanks so much
for the visit! Having done that, I'd like to comment on YOUR site. First
of all, it's honest and from the heart...that in its lf is refreshing.
Your page on SIDS is wonderful, giving lots of good information on a very
painful subject. I understand what it's like to lose a child. My first,
a son, was stillborn and then I lost three after that to miscarriage. I
finally gave up as the pain was too great. I know nothing can help the
pain of your loss, but if nothing else, be glad you had the chance to hold
your son and let him know how loved he was...I never held mine...nor sang
him a lullaby or told him how much he was wanted a d loved as it was back
in the days when the nurses and doctors took the babies away without allowing
the mother to say goodbye. I would have given my life to see his sweet
face and hear him coo or cry just once. He would've been 25 this year and
my hear still aches from the loss. As for life "sucking" and the concept
of "total happiness"...well...we can't control what happens to us, but
we can control how we choose to react to it, and it's been my experience
that happiness is a choice we make...maybe n t the total happiness you
seek, but happiness nonetheless. May you find peace and joy in those you
love.

were born, my parents had their first baby girl and lost her to crib death.
I have 7 month old twins and I worry about them dying from crib death all
