This is the Chevrolet 400 small block installed in a 1981 Pontiac Trans Am. |

The holley ended up not working out and I had to reinstall the quadrajet carb for now. Had major vacuum leaks and had to get new intake-carb gasket. Also had to replace rotor and plug wires plus add field voltage wire to excite field on alternator to get charging voltage. Now have problem of battery drain and have to disconnect battery cable until cure for problem is located. |
