Third Trimester Weeks 29-32

ZZZZZZZZzzzzzzzzzzzzz.....I am so tired!  We are finally moved in!!  We still have tons of boxes to unpack, but the kitchen, bedrooms, bathrooms, office, and most of the livingroom is unpacked.  I am just so happy to be out of the hotel, and in our own place!!  So far we love it here.:)  Our neighbours all seem very nice and friendly, and there are lots of young families!  The boys will have lots of new friends to play with.  The boys have adjusted well, but Jacob is a little disappointed that we are no longer staying at the "hometel" b/c we don't have a pool here.:)  The boys spent their first night in their new room together (Josh's first night out of the crib and in a big boy single bed!) and they had a blast, although Oli and I are both exhausted from breaking up Wrestle Mania in the middle of their room all night.  And we have another boy coming!!!??? The pg is going really well!  I am tired, and getting very big (loving every minute of it!).  Gabriel is so active, and rolls and kicks constantly! I am fighting off a sinus infection and I think that I may have a touch of the flu b/c I am so tired and achy lately.  All of my tests went well!  My final exams for school were easier than I had anticipated (I hope! LOL!) and I passed my 2h GTT!!  What's Happening?  Baby weighs 2 1/2 lbs, and is aprox 16.7" long!!

Week 29:  Apr 23-29

Great news!  I passed my exams!  I actually did so much better than I thought I would.:)  What a relief.  Now I just have my independant study courses to plug away at. We are slowly getting settled in our new house.  The kids room looks great, I am really proud of it, and they love it.:)  We still have to start the nursery, but that can wait until the rest of the house is out of chaos!  I am really looking forward to finishing the nursery, and filling it with all of Gabriel's stuff.  I also have to start thinking of packing a bag for the hospital!  I can't believe that he will be here in 8-10 weeks! Time is flying.:) My belly is getting bigger by the day, but I am still enjoying being pregnant.  I love to feel Gabriel moving and stretching.  He is very active, and I really don't think that there is a time that he settles down (I hope this is no indication of how he is going to be as a newborn!  LOL!).  I am starting to get Braxton Hicks contractions on a regular basis, and I feel a lot of pressure at times.  I remember feeling like this with Josh near the end. I am really looking forward to meeting my new OB on Thursday, and I hope to book a tour of the hospital soon.  It would have been nice to take a refresher child birth course, but we have no one to watch the kids for us.  Oh well, it's only been 13m since I was last in the delivery room, I think I can remember how to do it!;) What's Happening?  Baby weighs about 3 lbs and is 17" long!  Gabriel  is laying down fat stores that will help regulate his temperature once he is born.

Week 30:  Apr 30-May 6

Happy Mother's Day! I can't believe that this is my 3rd Mother's day, and I almost have 3 kids!  I never would have planned it this way, but I am am happy with the way things have worked out.:)  I got cards, and lots of kisses from the kids, and Oliver got me a digital camcorder!  I am so excited to install the software and take some pictures! I can't believe I am 31 weeks!  Where is the time going?  I still feel pretty good for being this far along.  I am a little smaller than I was with Josh, so I am very happy about my appearance, so far.:) We have finished unpacking the house, and just have the finishing touches to do.  The nursery is next!  I hope that we will have a chance to start it this weekend, I am really looking forward to washing up all the clothes, and setting up little Gabriel's room!! Drs Appt Update:  (May 9) I finally got in to see my new OB!  It really is a small world!  I picked his name from the local Hospital listing and recognised his last name.  I took a chance and called his office and got in.  When I arrived at the appt, it was a doctor that had looked after me a few times when I was pg with Josh!  I guess he relocated back here (where he was from originally) a few months ago!  The appt went well, I brought Oli and both boys with me.  Everything looks great, and Gabriel is doing very well!!  I am booking my tour of the hospital this week!  I can't believe how close I am getting! Weight:  142 lbs BP:  120/74 Fundal Height:  31cm Heart Rate:  140 BPM What's Happening?  Baby weighs 3.5 lbs, and is 18" long.  His movements are slowing, as he runs out of room.

Week 31:  May 7-13

32 weeks already!  Time is just flying!  It really seems like yesterday that the pg test turned +.  In only a few weeks we are going to be holding Gabriel in our arms.:)  How exciting!! We had my inlaws over for the long weekend.  We did some sight-seeing, and went shopping.  We all had a great time, but I am paying for it now.  My back is really sore.  I think that Gabriel may have dropped this weekend, b/c my belly is much lower and I have so much pressure and my contractions are getting stronger!!  Perhaps that is why my back hurts so much.  I think that a nerve is being pinched.  OUCH!  Sleeping is also getting more difficult, and I have to get up several times a night.  I forgot how little sleep you get at the end.  I don't mind, I am just so happy that the pregnancy has gone so well, and that we are almost at the end!  I am getting impatient!:) We STILL haven't had a chance to work on the nursery, and all of the baby clothes are waiting to be washed!  I am starting to panic!  LOL!    What's Happening?  Gabriel weighs about 4lbs, and is about 18.9" long.  He is now getting in position for birth!
