2) COMBAT ART OF A. MICHAEL LEAHY, USMC:

The following website is a tribute to the brave men and women who have served our country gallantly and bravely in battle. The United States Marine Corps is the most elite and well-equipped corps of military personnel in the world. On this next site some of these memories of Marine life are captured in the paintings of A.Michael Leahy, a retired colonel in the USMC, and coincidentally, my uncle. We are always looking for ways to honor the memory of our fallen heroes, and Col. Leahy's site provides an unequalled glimpse into the combat activities of the Marine Corps. Please check out this terrific website at www.thehootch.com and to all our servicemen and women, we thank you all.

3) HARRY LORAYNE MEMORY TRAINING

Although I have statistical material at my disposal during my broadcasts, I find I can concentrate on the action a whole lot better when I can commit information to memory. I have done games where I have memorized whole rosters, stats, and background information. Although my memory has always been strong, people still are curious to know how it's done. Much of the material I learned came from the work of Harry Lorayne, the world's most renowned memory expert. Harry can meet hundreds of people in an audience and recall their names after one meeting, as well as memorizing decks of cards, among his many other great feats. Here is the website for the man who has taught me the memory systems I use every day- www.harrylorayne.com

We can all benefit from these inspirational quotes. In addition, this site enables you to find quotations on any topic to keep your motivation high. 9)  MAKEM WEBSITE

Even though this is a sports website, I hope you will indulge me when I mention that there is one non-sports related website I would like to conclude with. It represents the other passion of my life-music. Being a musician is a joy I am happy to be blessed with and I am proud to share this talent with the world whenever I get the chance. Here's a quick note about my favorite brand of music- Irish folk. In particular, I enjoy the music of the late great Tommy Makem and the Makem Brothers. I've been listening to (and playing my guitar to) the Makem's songs for 24 years now. This next website is the official site for the late Tommy Makem and his sons, the Makem and Spain Brothers.
