10. Bugs Bunny's Christmas Carol (1979)

"Ain't I a Dickens?" This is just an eight-minute short, but it made my list, anyway. It's my favorite version of the classic holiday tale, 'cause I love Looney Tunes. Enough said.

9. Sleepless in Seattle (1993)

All right, this isn't really a Christmas flick, but it is a holiday flick. The events center around Christmas, New Year's, and Valentine's Day. I enjoy this fairly modern, somewhat satirical, romantic comedy.

8. The Santa Clause (1994)

A clever plot that  probably taught many what a legal clause is, without them knowing they were learning. Sneaky education ftw! But some people have only recently figured out the pun in the title, if at all, despite this line: "Not Santa Claus the person but the Santa Clause the clause...as in the last line of a legal contract." *bangs head on desk*

The Santa Clause 2: The Mrs. Clause (2002) wasn't bad. I'm looking forward to seeing The Santa Clause 3: The Escape Clause (2006), especially because I've always liked Martin Short (a great choice for Jack Frost).
This rebel picked some non-traditional holiday faves. lol (Some of them were released during the Christmas season, though.)
10. Harry Potter

awesome wizard movie about magic!
9. Finding Nemo

i love it!!! it's cool, so many catch phrases! i adore this movie!
7. Elf (2003)

Will Ferrell was great as an over-grown, merry elf seeing "the real world" and meeting his dad for the first time. I
8. Pirates of the Caribbean
     awesome pirates movie!
also liked the stuttering Bob Newhart as Papa Elf. This movie also has a nice, little duet of "Baby, It's Cold Outside", sung by Ferrell and Zooey Deschanel. I really like her jazzy voice and his unprofessional, but decent, one.
6. A Garfield Christmas (1987)

Not as funny as Gar-field's Thanksgiving, but this one has more of the spunky, unconventional Grandma. Jon and his brother behaving like
"I do a hundred sit-ups every morning; my belly's hard as a rock. C'mon! Hit me right here! Give me your best shot."
7. The Lion King

one word: Hakuna Matata.

6. Happy Feet
     cute penguin movie!
the best present a cat could ever get little boys is mildly annoying, but this special has just the right mix of humor and sentimental-ity. My thoughts about the fat cat's last line can be found here.
