Yamaha YZF1000R ThunderAce
Hi! Welcome to my personal ThunderAce Page.
I bought the ThunderAce in 1999 and it is a superb bike to ride, it is just great fun riding. The Ace is not my first motorcycle. I've been riding bikes since I got my License in 1993. For an complete overview of my bike history go to
this page.

In 2001 I crashed with my ThunderAce into the water. The bike had a reasonable amount of damage, except for the parts made from steel, such as  frame, wheels, engine, tank. Most plastic parts were broken. I myself suffered from a torn vertebra and a broken hand and was only allowed  to lie down or stand straight for 2.5 months. During my recovery from the accident I decided to do a complete rebuild of the Ace, instead of bying a new bike. It took about 8 months to get the bike back on its feet in the new state. Find out more on the
modification history page.

I'm still busy building this site. Every now and then you can expect something new. Look below the bike animation on the right for the date of the last update. I Hope you enjoy this site. Please feel free to let me know what you think of it, by dropping me an
email or sign my guestbook!
