.....Today was cold and foggy most of the day. I guess winter is here. By Cold I mean in the 40's, not like those living in the north east where its currently in the single digits.

.....Only 17 more shopping days til' Christmas!

.....Temperture has been in the low to mid 50's daytime, and down to the 30's at night last few days. Thats cold for here.

.....Cloudy and drizzle today. Not much to add, and sorry for not updating the webcams.

Sox do it again! Boston Red Sox beat St. Louis Cardinals 4-1 in Game 3 of the World Series tonight.

.....World Series Basball. I believe in the Red Sox.
The rainy season is here in California and looks like a storm headed this way.

.....Red Sox beat the Yankees tonight 10 to 3 to win Game 7 of the AL Championship Series. The Red Sox became the first team in MLB history to rally from a three-game deficit. The 100 year Curse is over.

.....Its a cold and Drizzly night in New York tonight as the Red Sox and the Yankees go at Game 6 of the ALCS. I Believe...

.....One more time the Red Sox bring their Fans close to the top of the mountain, only to push them off edge. The worst game they ever played, and it had to be Saturday at Fenway Park. Damn those Yankees....
Tonight, after a 5 hour game, The Red Sox win 6 to 4 to block a sweep when David Ortiz hit a 2 run homer in the 12th inning.
Thats our Boston Red Sox.

.....Weather has been nice here. Not much happening where I am. Looks like Helens Volcano is just letting off steam now and then. Lots of Volcano activity else where in the world including Mexico and Italy.
Indonesia has the most active volcanoes in the world, with 151.

.....Looks like Mount St. Helens is comming back to life after 24 years. Yesterdays small eruption, and todays small steam emission has concern that this may be just the beginning. The alert level raised to three, closing hiking trails and observation areas.

.....The webcam of the week is Mount Saint Helens in Washington. I picked that because of the recent small earthquake activity there. There is a chance we might see a small explosion if the the quakes increase. But then again, it could be nothing. There have been over 20 small quakes just today. (Magnitude 1.8 to 2.6)

.....Fall is upon us according to my calender....

.....Its rainning here in Fremont California for the first time in months, and the temp' is in the low 60's. Its only fractions of an inch of rain, not like the east coast where in some places its measured in feet.

.....Added a Webcam Page" with links to various Cams around the world. Some are in places where you would never expect to find people let alone cameras.

.....So today I decide to update my windowsXP with SP2(service pack 2), but before i could I had to download a half dozen fixes for programs. Then the upgrade took about a half hour(on DSL). Now, when I start the PC it takes three times as long to load everything. Internet Explorer now has its own pop-up blocker.

.....Labor Day, and its hot. Its 95 degrees here today.

.....Hot and dry here in Northern California. Yesterday's high was around 95, and today was 85. Saturday the "Super Lotto" was 99 million and three people got the winning numbers. I didn't even come close...(Federal and State taxes amounting to perhaps 40% of the actual payout are witheld.)

.....Hot and sunny today. Changed the background image to something I made. I'm going to try and change the "webcam of the Week" every week to a interesting one. I'll move the old webcam link to the "Recent Bookmarks" page.

.....Had the day off from work today. Went out and enjoyed the nice weather for a while.

.....Starting off the Month with Homeland Security Secretary Tom Ridge says there's reason to believe that terrorists are plotting car or truck-bomb attacks against financial institutions in New York City, Washington and Newark, New Jersey.
New York is preparing for the Republican National Convention, which is scheduled to begin August 30 at Madison Square Garden.

.....This month is just flying by it seems. Those crazy guys at JibJab are at it again with some new stuff. Check it out, "This Land" about the election with Carry and Bush together in a musical! Well, its a Flash site and the files are large(3MB).But it sure is fun.

.....The 4th of July weekend was fun. Spent it with some good friends , watched fireworks and stuff. The weather was a little cooler than I remember other years.

I've noticed that there has not been a large earthquake in the world in several weeks. Large meaning, 6 or above. But there has been an increase in small quakes in California lately.

.....Got back from the East Coast on Monday. Had a good time visiting Family and friends. Been a while since I updated this site. Look for some changes later this month, maybe. Cool around 62 degrees right now.

OK, here is something I came across today on the net'. This site has some of the best, of the worst collection of Art I've ever seen. Its "The museum of Bad Art" (MOBA). Until early 1995, MOBA was housed in the basement of a private home in Boston. Now, thanks to the internet, they can bringing this priceless collection of quality bad art to a global audience.

.....Sunday, around noon, and the temp' is 62 degrees,and the sun just broke through the clouds. Yesterday at this time it was around 80 degrees.

.....Spring is only a few days away, but it already feels like summer here. Its gonna be strange when the tempeatures get back to normal, if they ever do.
I changed some of the colors on the site, and some backgrounds.

.....Every one has an opion about what is out in space, and what might be on Mars. The web site "Bad Astronomy", maintained by Philip Plait, who trys to explain some of the views of others, and discussing astronomy that is bad. Hence the name. For example, remember the "Face" on Mars a few years back? Some people still think its made by intelligent life. Check out the site "Bad Astronomy", and see what really is up there.

....Thursday is another hot day with record breaking temperatures for the San Francisco Bay Area. It was 81 in San Francisco today.

....Warm and sunny today, 75. Normal is 65 for March. I'm not complaining. In contrast, back east in my home town of Worcester, its 27 degrees and light snow.

.....Well, made it through February without any major problems. The cherry trees here are all in pink, and the leaves are starting to show. These are the first trees to bloom here in Northern California.

.....Nice day today, 50's cloudy. Tommorrow is Ash Wednesday, and so begins 40 days of Lent, the 40th weekday before Easter.

.....Monday, rainny day. Its "Presidents Day", a day off for me, and a day to sleep in.

.....Is it Friday Yet? This week is dragging a little too slow for me. Guess I should not complain really. the tempature today was around 70 degrees(F) and it was sunny. Winter-Spring -
Be glad you don't live in Indonesia where they had 4 earthquakes(located 73 km southwest of Nabire), between magnitude 6.0 and 7.0, in just 5 days that killed 26 people.
"The Largest Earthquake in the World" was in Chile May 21, 1960, magnitude 9.5. Thats when it started and then on May 22 another major aftershock caused a series seismic sea waves(tsunami )causing, not only damage in Chile, but Maui, Japan, Southern California.

.....Its Monday night, light rain 53 degrees. Not too bad for a Monday. Theres a new VIRUS spreading fast. Called MyDoom (W32/Mydoom@MM). This is a bad one. Think before you download any attachments.

.....Nice day in Northern California. Watching the New England Patroits play the Indianapolis Colts. Its the 4th, and its 21 to 7, Patroits. The weather is light snow, 32 degrees. Thats good weather compaired to last week when it was about 4 degrees, with a wind chill of minus 10.
UPDATE: PATRIOTS WIN! the Patriots beat the Colts 24-14 to advance to their second Super Bowl in three seasons. Next stop, Super Bowl XXXVIII.

.....A good start for the new year with NASA and the Mars Exploration Rover Spirit. Check out some of the first pictures here. Spirit traveled 302.6 million miles to reach Mars after its launch from Cape Canaveral in Florida, on June 10, 2003. Mars is: 35-63 million miles away from Earth at opposition.
