2001 Performance Numbers:
Best 1/4 ET of 11.865@113.57 MPH with a 1.634 60'. Best 1/8 ET of 7.563@89.92 MPH. My best 1/4 MPH was 114.82 and my best 1/8 MPH was 90.73. I was hitting the rev limiter going into 2nd and into 3rd, so I lost some ET & MPH there. The temp on this day was mid 40's, great racing weather. This was on BFG Drag Radials @ 15 psi and leaving @ 2000 RPM.
My 2001 modifications:
388" (3.750" stroke X 4.060" bore).
Same cylinder heads as 1999 except I cleaned up the shrouding around the exhaust valves.
11.96:1 compression ratio.
GTP-IV hydraulic roller camshaft.
PI Vigilante 3500 stall torque convertor.
Shift kit and transmission rebuild.
Silverado transmission pan and deep filter.
3.73 Richmond gears.
Another SLP take off differential with synthetic gear lube.
1LE A/C delete pulley.
Canton Competition oil pan.
MSD 8.5mm sparkplug wires.
LT1_EDIT for ODB II.
Summit Racing battery relocation kit.
Swaybar removal.
Lost 50 lbs of weight including the swaybar.
