2002 Performance Numbers:
Not a bad year of racing, slowly chipping away at better times. These runs were with cylinder heads that flowed horribly, which amazes me, a broken piston and a broken main cap.
Best 1/4 ET of 11.751@115.96 MPH with a 1.677 60'. Best 1/8 ET of 7.500@91.47 MPH. My best 1/4 MPH was 116.05 and my best 60' was 1.646. The temp on this day was high 60's, decent racing weather, could have been a little cooler. This was on BFG Drag Radials @ 14 psi and leaving @ 2200 RPM. There was no track prep on this day at all. I would have ran an easy 11.6X if the track was.
My 2002 modifications:
Removed front/rear bumper support.
Removed the airpump.
Optima Racing Battery.
AFR Hydra Rev Kit.
30 lb. SVO fuel injectors.
Hypertech AFPR.
A little more tuning using my AutoTAP/LT1_Edit software, but still learning all the time!
Lost 60 lbs of weight including the bumper supports.
