| Once there, Jono kept to himself, rarely talking to his other teammates, which consisted of Jubilee, Paige Guthrie (aka Husk), Angelo Espinosa (aka Skin), Everett Thomas (aka Synch), and Monet St Croix (aka M), respectively. The school was headed by Sean Cassidy (aka Banshee) and Emma Frost (aka White Queen). After befriending the ever mysterious mute mutant known only as Penance (who was truly a favorite of mine before they went stupid with her story), he started to open up to the others a little. He still kept his distance, though, sleeping in the basement of the boys dormitory. |

| One night Jono's fellow teammate, Paige (shown in the picture on the left), made a pathetic attempt at getting drunk. While he stood there talking to her, she acted on her attraction to him and kissed him. Jono, taken completely by surprise, blew up the entire girl's dormitory by accident. Only her husking ability saved her. Jono and Paige had a very rocky relationship, if you can even call it that. He was too insecure about his appearance and she was too immature to see things from both sides. If you haven't guessed by now, I don't like Paige. I can't give you a specific reason for my dislike, but it's there. But I digress. They were on and off through the enitre 75 issue run of Generation X, playing off of each other's jealousy. |

| Jono received a letter from Xavier once again in Gen X #75, inviting him to join the X Men. When Jubilee found out and told the other teammates, they all decided they wanted to leave the school as well. But, instead of going to the mansion like he led everyone to believe, he went back to London for a while. He saved pop sensation Sugar Kane one night at a club and the two started a short-lived affair. She eventually confessed to him that she was just using him as publicity after there was a rumor that surfaced that she was carrying his child. She suggested he join his X Men friends, which he eventually did. | |||||||||||||||||||||
| His current whereabouts take place with the Weapon X comics. After being away from the X Men on a mission, he returned to the mansion, only to find out that Paige has started dating veteran X Man, Warren Worthington III (aka Angel or Archangel). Having to conatantly see them together, Jono was frustrated and upset. He went to a local bar to get away. But there he was picked on for being a mutant. Instead of leaving, he gave into his anger and frustration. He not only scared off the people who made fun of him, he also destoyed much of the bar. The X Men were called to the scene. And who should appear but Warren WITH Paige. This did not help any. Warren tried to calm Jono down by telling him they were "all family" as he slid an arm around Paige. Jono promptly responded by punching him in his smug face. The other X Men came in and knocked Jono out, then left him outside for the cops. He was taken to jail, where they put him in this uh, containment contraption. I must say I had some rather interesting ideas pop into my head when I saw him locked up in that thing..... | |||||||||||||||||||||

| So, while in jail wearing his yummy bondage---er, I mean containment suit thing, he was approached by Brent Jackson from the Weapon X project, who offered Jono his freedom in exchange for his services. Oh, and one other benefit...Jono gets his face back. Don't ask me how they did this. Here's a picutre of a whole Jono. | |||||||||||||||||||||
| So, it has been revealed that the whole issue with Jono falling out of favor with the X Men was a hoax. They wanted to plant a mole in the Weapon X program, and they thought that Jono would be perfect, given his short temper and strong will to do what he wants. But, things were much darker for Jono than he thought they would be. In exchange for his new face and chest, he was ordered by Weapon X to kill a mutant parts dealer named Sublime. Jono had issues with that, which he took to Wolverine. | |||||||||||||||||||||

| Wolverine basically told him to just deal with it and do what needs to be done. So, with a reluctant heart, Jono went through with it and killed Sublime. Later, when he approached Wolverine, Jono tells him that he no longer knows if he agrees with the X Men's methods anymore. He walked away without a second glance. I'll keep you updated as the comics are released. All further updates will be in the News page.
