A student's world is bigger than a teacher's because he lives in it every day, teachers merely become an interruption to a student's life.  I enjoy working with all types of students as a teacher to achieve a common goal, to learn and most of all students are great to work with in a class room setting. I  believe that there are many different learning styles, learning is endless and everyone has the ability to learn regardless of their situation or background.  Anyone  that can speak any language has learned the ability to decode and transfer knowledge to those in their surroundings.

I have been teaching at Guam Community College (GCC) for five years, fall, spring and summer semesters consecutively since 2000.  I am an  Adjunct Instructor in the English Language Institute.  I have taught  the EN100 Courses, Fundamentals of English-Reading, Writing, and Basic and  EN066 &  EN067, Reading and Writing Workshop.
Resume
At GCC I find joy in teaching the Adult High School Program.  The  Adult High School student populations have not completed their education  due to a varying of responsibility and irresponsibility.  These students are back in school for a purpose, and have been well educated  with the lessons life has offered them thus far, while others may have endured hardships that have hindered their fundamental right to a full education granted in their earlier years.   These students without  doubt have returned to school with renewed enthusiasm to learn.  They  have returned with a keen interest in education, illustrating that the learning process is forever.  Once students have been given the opportunity to learn in a positive non-critical manner or environment,  learning becomes endless.  When true teacher professionalism is  instituted the educational process and accountability of individuals involved will improve inevitably.  All of my students and colleagues  at GCC have made my teaching experience one to remember.
