| We are very pleased to announce that Donna White will not be released from prison at this time. The three judge panel, including two from Washington County and one from here in Allegany County have ruled that she continue to serve out her sentence. The family of Brandy Lynn White would like to thank everyone who signed a petition supporting Donna's original sentence. We would like to also thank everyone for their thoughts and prayers. It gives us hope to know that we live in a community where people are willing to come together and stand up for a little girl, and 18 years later, Brandy has not been forgotten. | This page is dedicated to Brandy Lynn White and was created to draw attention to the fact that this 4 year old little girl was murdered by her own mother and her mother's boyfriend in 1986, while in their custody. Donna White, Brandy's mother was sentenced to life plus 15 years in prison. Donna's boyfriend, Bruce Sarver also remains in prison for the horrific crime. Donna White has been granted a review of her sentencing, and will appear before a three judge panel in the Washington County, Maryland Courthouse, on December 5, 2003. Family, friends, and neighbors are in the process of circulating petitions to protest any leniency or mercy shown to Donna Lynn White.
