Nick turned around with an annoyed look on his face. "Well...Annie...I'm having a ton of fun right here!" He put his arm around Brittany. Melissa and Brittany exchanged glances and wondered what that little spat was about. Annie sighed, "Well I'm outta here." She turned around and walked towards the gate. She turned back around and yelled, "Are you coming or not Nick?" She had a hurt look on her face. Melissa sensed the tension between everyone. She stepped in, "Well, we have to meet Brian in 10 minutes anyways, so we really should get going to the meeting." Nick realized she was right so he started to walk towards Annie. When Nick and Annie got into the truck he was so oblivious as to what was going on. He had fallen so head-over-heals that he didn't even realize the sarcastic tone in her words. Nick said with an ear-to-ear grin on his face, "So, wasn't Brittany the greatest?" "Yeah, just freakin' great, she shot back, "if you like the slutty, New York, whore types!" Everything in Nick's forest green pick-up truck was silent for a few minutes. "Ya know," Nick finally said, "I'm beginning to think you don't like her very much!" "Look Nick," Annie replied, "I just don't want you to get hurt ok? Don't do anything stupid!" Soon enough they were at AJ's mom's house where the meeting was being held. Nick got out and Annie followed him into the house. The whole crew was there but Howie and Brian. They waited for them. Right as Nick started to tell the story of the girl he met at Disney earlier that day, Brian and Howie walked in with Melissa and Brittany right behind them. Nick threw his hat on and turned towards AJ, "See, that's the pretty girl I was talking about." AJ checked Brittany out a second time and snickered, "Yeah right...in your dreams buddy!" Brittany took the seat next to Kevin and Melissa and Brian sat on the floor. As soon as Lou showed up (their only manager for the time being), the meeting got under way. An hour later everyone was dispersing. "So what are all you guys doing tonight?" Howie inquired. Nick looked at Brittany. "Well, I was thinking we could...," but Brittany was too involved in a conversation with Kevin to hear Nick. "Well I was looking for someone to show me around town!" Brittany said eyeing Kevin. "Your chariot awaits my fair lady," Kevin replied offering his hand. "Kev...buddy...I'm sure I can handle it!" Nick said. Kevin replied, "No Nick, it's cool, I'll take over from here!" Kevin and Nick looked at eachother, then at Brittany, "Lets let her decide." Nick blurted out. "Well," she said, looking in between the guys, "Ummm, are there any good clubs in Orlando?" Changing the subject. "I'm game!" Said Kevin. "Me too!" Added Nick, tensely. "But Nick...you hate clu-" Nick cut Annie off before she could finish her sentence. "I CAN'T WAIT!" Nick shot back giving Annie a dirty look. "Gee Nick, why don't we just have the whole gang come!?!?" Kevin said sarcastically. Brittany, obviously lost as to what's going on said, "That's a great idea Kevin! Lis, you comin?" "Well," She answered, "Brian and I are going to see..." Brian finished her sentence, "A CHICK FLICK!" Melissa hit him on the arm. After that the two were in a full blown wrestling match. But after a few minutes, they got a little involved with themselves. "Annie," Said Kevin, "Why don't you come a long?" So far, Kevin was the only one who noticed the way she looked at Nick and thought she would be a good distraction for Nick so he could spend more time with Brittany. "Well I'm up for some dancin'!" Howie said gettin' down with his funky self. The four of them walked out the door. "Well, I guess I'll go, just to make sure lover-boy here doesn't do anything stupid!" Said Annie referring to Nick. Annie said, "Damn, they already left!" "Oh, I'll take ya," Said AJ, "I don't have to meet the guys at Billiards until 11." They had to pry Melissa and Brian off of eachother and get them out of the house before they could leave. "Thanks AJ!" Annie said as the car pulled to a stop.
