Lollypops and Gum Drops Chapter 1 Ellie didn't know what she was doing. She was taking boxes out of the truck and was walking into her new house. Well it really wasn't a house more like an apartment, but still it was hers. She just got out of the fast paced city and had just moved to Florida where she wanted time for peace and quiet. She went into an elevator on her way up to her new home. She walked in and put the box she was carrying down and looked around. Then she heard a huge BANG. Then someone screamed. "Nick watch where you’re going your going to kill me!" Ellie then thought to herself great loud neighbors just what I want. She went back down to get another box and started to walk to the elevator where she saw a girl who was about her age with brown hair with a guy who was a little bit older. She looked at them. Both the girl and the guy were both all over eachother. The guy had on sunglasses and had yellow dyed hair. The girl had brown hair and looked a lot normal then the guy. The girl looked over at Ellie who was carrying the box. She then said. "So you’re just moving here?" Ellie looked at her and said. "Yeah." "So where are you going to be living?" "Umm.. room 128 B." "Oh we live just above that. Well, sort of. Oh yeah I'm Mary and this is AJ." "Hi, I'm Ellie." "Well just in case you hear noises above that’s Nat and Nick they like fight all the time its nothing bad its just well them its weird." "Oh so that’s what that was." "So you were there already. That’s cool. Trust us you get used to it very fast." "Thanks for the warning." "Hey you want me and AJ to help you and then you can met the rest of us." "All of you fit in one apartment?" "No, we all bought the whole upstairs, there’s a lot more, we just well share it. I guess." "Oh sure. Thanks." After they put the last box in her apartment. There was another noise. "Nick get off of me!" Ellie looked at both of them who just started to laugh. "I'm going to get used to this?" "Yeah you should if you don't just tell us okay? We can settle them down." AJ said. "So do you want to met all of the people upstairs?" "Yeah sure." They went upstairs and walked in the back. They went into the kitchen where another girl and guy were sitting doing a crossword puzzle. "Hey!" Mary said. They both looked up. "Hello." "Why is it so quiet?" AJ said. "Lisa got Nick into a bet that she had more beanie babies than him and so Nat is counting Lisa’s and Nick is counting his. They’re doing all that fun marking off stuff." The guy said. "Oh that will be fun. Anyway, Lisa and Brian this is Ellie. She just moved here and we’re just warning her of Nick and Nat." "Oh well welcome to hell." Lisa said. "Thanks for the warning." "No problem." "Where’s Kevin?" Mary asked. "Sleeping on the couch. Finally." "Oh well you can met him later." "Alright." "How about D?" "He’s out I think. Nobody knows where D is." "Oh well we just have to prepare you for Nick and Nat." "Gee you make them sound like there like evil." "No just well, different we can say that." "Alright." "You never want them to be away from each other or one of them will complain the whole way to where ever you are." "Oh. I see." "Come on lets go." Mary dragged Ellie into the living room. While Brian, Lisa, and AJ worked on the crossword puzzle they were working on forever. Ellie and Mary went into the living room where beanie babies were everywhere. "Hey Nick! Nat!" Mary screamed. "Don't step on Ears!" Nick screamed as Mary was so close to stepping on the bunny. "Alright. Gee. (looking at Ellie) He’s in love with them ignore him." "I heard that!" "Funny Nick. I want you and Nat to met Ellie. She’s well the new person who’s going to be living below you two. Just to let you know." "Oh Hello. I'm Nat and this umm... nice guy yeah is Nick." "Hi." She said shyly. "So where do you come from?" Nick asked. "Chicago." "Hey Nat didn't you guys live there?" Nick asked. "Yeah Nick we did." "So you came from what side?" Nat asked. "South I guess." "Cool." "SO why did you move here?" Nick asked. "Peace and quiet I guess." Ellie said. "Well you won't get it living below them two." "I don't live here Mary! Remember that!" Nat said. "Oh yeah I forgot that Nat doesn't live here but it seems like she does. She lives downstairs too. I think." "You don't even know where your own friend lives." Nick said. "I bet Nat doesn't even know where she lives. She basically lives with you Nick!" Nat started to shy away. Nick looked at her and laughed. "You do know where you live right?" "Yeah I do. I live umm.. 127. Yea that." "Hey that’s next to mine." Ellie said. "I'm never there though." "Oh." "Yeah, she’s always with me." Nick said. "Unfortunately." Nat said, while smiling at him. He then looked at her book that she was marking off and said. "Nat you marked off Bone twice." "I did not!" "You did to!" "Where, show me where!" "Look in the box." "Nick that’s just a demented check." "Well, maked it not demented. Okay." "Sure whatever." Mary made Ellie go back into the kitchen while Nick and Nat were still fighting. "Their always like that." "Yuppers but like I said you get used to it." "I hope." Brian looked up from the crossword puzzle and smiled at Ellie. "Hey Ellie what’s a five letter word for bad?" "N sync?" "Hey maybe that will work." Ellie just laughed. "So what’s up with Nick and Nat are they dating?" Ellie asked. "Yup. I don't know how long but they have." Mary said. "Oh." Ellie said disappointed. "Why do you like Nick?" Lisa said. "No. Just wondering." "Oh cause if you were don't. He’s one who plays way to much. But he’s a good boyfriend to Nat." "Oh." Ellie later on met the rest of the guys.
