A Perfect Picture-Seeing How It's The Opposite Chapter 6 Ashley watched as Nick helped Lyn up the stairs. She smiled. Now what to do next she thought. She made her way to her car and drove back thinking of what else she could do to Lyn. Lyn clung to Nick. ”Shh…baby, it’s ok, she won’t bother you anymore, I’ll make sure of that…” Nick said as he tried to comfort her. Nick stroked her hair and soon Lyn was asleep. He carefully slipped out of her arms and headed downstairs. “Hello?” “Bri, it’s Nick!” “Hey man, what’s up?” “A lot, Lyn’s a mess, someone is harrassing her, we have to find out who and stop it!” Brian sat there speechless. “Are you sure?” “I’m positive! I answered one of the calls myself!” “Do ya have any idea on who it could be?” “No, I told Lyn that it’s probably some crazy fan but I don’t think our fans would go this far, do you?” “Well…..no, so what do you wanna do about it?” “Get everyone together and figure out who it is then stop it!” “Ok, well we can do that tonight at Krys’ house, everyone will be there.” “Ok, thanks B!” “No prob, talk to ya later and tell Lyn I hope she feels better!” “Ok, bye!” “Bye!” Nick hung up the phone and went back upstairs. He watched Lyn sleep. God, who’d want to hurt her? And why her? She’s the sweetest person I know. Please God, I’ve never asked for much but please keep Lyn safe, I don't know how crazy this person is but please, I can’t lose Lyn. He carefully opened a drawer and pulled out a velvet box, he looked inside and gazed at the beautiful diamond ring it held. With all this going on, I wonder if this is the right time to ask her. He closed the box and put it back in its place. He walked over to Lyn and laid down beside her holding her close.”I Love you Lyn!” he whispered to her before closing his eyes.~At Ashley’s~ Ashley waited a few more rings before picking it up. “Hello?” “Hi is Ashley there?” “Speaking, who’s this?” “Oh hi!This is Krystle, AJ’s girlfriend, I just wanted to know if you wanted to come over tonight for a little get together?” “Is Nick going to be there?” An odd look appeared on Krystle’s face. “Umm….I guess he is…” she said uncertainly. “Ok then I’m in, what time?” “About 8” “Ok bye!” “Bye” Ashley quickly ran upstairs to get ready. Tonight is my night! She thought with an evil smile. Krystle sat with an uncertain look on her face. “Hey sweetie! What’s wrong?” AJ said kissing her on the cheek. “I’m just thinking.” “About what? And why do you have that look on your face?” “About Ashley and what look?” “What about her? And you look confused.” “Well, she kinda seems to interested in Nick doesn’t she?” “Yeah, I kinda noticed that but then again, all girls are always interested in Nick!” “Yeah but this is different!” “How is it different?” “It just is! I have this bad feeling about her AJ!” AJ laughed a little. “I’m sure it’s just your imagination hon!” Krystle nodded but knew it wasn’t. She had a bad feeling that something was going to happen, but she didn’t know what. Lyn slowly opened her eyes as she felt a warm kiss on her lips. ”Time to get up baby!” Nick said with a smile. ”We gotta go to Krys’” “Hmm…..ok….”Lyn replied with a yawn. Nick quickly changed into a pair of jeans and a white shirt, when he came out he found a still very sleepy Lyn. “Lyn! Come on, we gotta go to Krys’!” “Hmmm……” “Lyn!!!!!!” “Ok….I’m up, I’m up!!!” Lyn mumbled as she rolled out of bed. She quickly changed into some shorts and a tank as she heard Nick yell for her. “Lyn!!!! HURRY UP!!!!” “OK, I’m coming already!!!!!” She quickly shoved on a pair of sandals and ran down the stairs. “What’s the big hurry anyways?” “I gotta talk to Bri about something.” “Ok….must be really important if you’re rushing like this….” ::DingDong:: Krystle quickly ran to the door. “Hey guys! Come on in! Everyone’s here but Ashley!” Nick and Lyn followed Krystle into the family room. Nick joined Kevin, Brian, AJ, and Howie at the table while Lyn went with Krys to see SJ, Hannah, and Tori. “Feeling better hon?” Krystle asked as they sat down. “A little but not all that much, I’m just not undertstanding this…..” “What happened?” SJ asked. “It’s just some girl has been calling the house…..” “WHAT?!?!?!?!?!?! NICK HAS A OTHER WOMAN?!?!?!?!?!?! HE’S DEAD!!!!!!” Tori yelled as she got up ready to go after Nick. “TORI!!!! CALM DOWN!!!! NO NICK DOES NOT HAVE ANOTHER GIRL, If he does he’s a dead man, but some girl has been calling just to harass me. Telling me to get away from Nick cuz he’s hers and if I don’t then to watch out. That’s all, nothing that big….” “Does Nick know?” “Yeah…..he answered one of the calls…..he’s thinks it’s just a fan…..” Tori gave a skeptical look, “I don’t think it is….” “Neither do I, but I have no idea on who it could be!” “Any ex-girlfriends of Nick’s that may still be in-love with him?” “No….Sarah’s engaged, Mandi’s married, so it can’t be them….” “I have no clue then….do the guys know?” “I haven’t told them anything, maybe Nick is right now….” “Let’s call them over, we have to find out who this is before anyone gets hurt!” “I know….” Krystle quickly yelled to them. “AJ! Get the guys over here!” She waited till everyone was settled before asking another question. “Do you guys know what’s going on?” Brian nodded his head. “yeah….what are we going to do?” “We do what Nick and Lyn want us to do!” Tori stated sternly. SJ looked over at Lyn and gave her a sympathetic look. “Don’t worry hon, everything will be alright!” Lyn gave a weak smile. “I hope so….” “Ya don’t think it’s any of Nick’s secret lovers or anything do ya?” AJ asked trying to lighten things. “NO and it can’t be any of Nick’s exs either, we just went over that…” Krystle responded. “Well…what abou-….” The doorbell rang before Brian could finish his sentence. Krystle quickly ran to the door. “It’s Ashley you guys, looks like she brought a friend, but let’s not talk about this around her ok?” Everyone nodded in agreement. Krystle opened the door and plastered a smile. “Hey Ashley! Mi casa, su casa!” “Nice place you got Krys…” Ashley responded while looking around. As she walked in she spotted Nick in the corner of the room with Brian. She quickly made her way over there. “Well hello there!” she said with a huge smile. Nick gave a little smile, “Hi!” he replied softly. “Er…..I don’t think you’ve met Bri yet, Bri this is Ashley, new co-worker of Lyn’s, Ashley this is my best bud Brian.” “Nice to meet you!” she said taking Brian’s hand. She slyly placed herself right between Nick and Brian kinda shoving Bri away. “Umm….well excuse me….” Bri quickly said, “But I need a drink…nice meeting you Ashley, I’ll talk to ya later Nick!” and Brian quickly left. Ashley smiled to herself, now that’s much a better. The way it’s supposed to be, me and Nick. “Well…..” Ashley started. “Hey! Isn’t that your friend over there?” Nick interrupted, quickly pushing past Ashley. “Yeah….” Ashley sighed, “His name is Brenton……” This is not supposed to be happening, Ashley quietly said to herself. Nick isn’t supposed to be paying attention to Brenton, Lyn is while I’m busy with Nick! “Hey Brenton, I’m Nick!” Nick said holding his hand out. “Brenton…” he replied. Ashley shot Brenton a look. “I need to speak to you for a minute Brent!” she said grabbing his wrist and tugging him to the kitchen. “Be back in a few Nick!” she said giving him a smile. Nick nodded and went to Lyn. “Hey honey!” he said sitting by her. “How are ya feeling?” “Much better now thankz.” Lyn said with a smile. As she climbed on his lap to make herself more comfortable. “That’s good, what do you say we head out to the beach tomorrow? Just have fun in the sun!” Lyn smiled, “That sounds great! Just me and you? Or everyone else too?” “It’s up to you dear, think about it and decide tomorrow k?” “Okay!” Lyn said and she comfortably laid in Nick’s arms.
