Lost Dreams Chapter 18 Nick turned around and ran way. He kept looking over his shoulder to see if he was being followed and ran straight into a tree. His unconscious body fell to the ground. Lisa smiled. She didn’t have to worry about Nick anymore. One of the boys looked around. ‘What are you waiting for?’ Asked Alec. ‘The slayer? You watch too much TV.’ She turned around to Kevin. ‘Kevin look at me.’ Kevin slowly raised his head and looked in her eyes. ‘Good boy.’ With her eyes Alec hypnotised Kevin. One of the boys decided he didn’t want to die and ran off. The three other lads started trembling. ‘Will….Will you kill us?’ Asked one. Alec tilted her head. ‘Hmm, yeah.’ She could smell their fear and loved every second of it. Suddenly she heard an excited scream and Jess and Kathy stepped in to the list. ‘Oh goody party party.’ Yelled Kathy while jumping up and down. One of the boys fainted. ‘Oh no fun.’ Said Jess with a pout. A few seconds later the four girls wiped their mouths clean. Jess and Lisa hid the boys in the bush at the edge of the park. Alec looked at Kevin. ‘Too bad I have to snap him out of it. I would really like to advantage of him right now.’ Kathy circled around Kevin who stood motionless. ‘We can still do that.’ Lisa and Jess returned. ‘Okay, let’s go home.’ Alec snapped her fingers and Kevin started moving again. He grabbed his head. ‘What happened?’ He asked. ‘Nothing.’ Said Alec. Lisa walked to Nick and lifted him to his feet. ‘That is the last time we are playing tag.’ She said before she swung him over her shoulder. ‘Come on, let’s get you home.’ Kevin was very surprised to see Jess and Kathy. ‘When did they show up?’ Alec rolled her eyes. ‘We were playing tag in the park. They joined us.’ Kevin shook his head in order to get the clouds out of his brain. He couldn’t remember a thing.Aaron watched Hannah from a distance. He wanted to talk to her but didn’t know what to say. ‘Hi Aaron.’ Said Hannah without turning around. He stepped closer. ‘Hannah, I ….I just wanted to say that I am sorry.’ Hannah turned around. ‘Sorry for what?’ Aaron took a deep breath. ‘I can’t be the chosen one. You have to find someone else.’ Hannah looked at him with a pain-filled look. ‘I chose you because I wanted to be with you. Forever.’ Aaron shook his head. ‘I have a life here. I have a girlfriend. I go to school. I like my tan.’ He joked. Hannah stared at her feet. ‘I want to be happy.’Next: Chapter 19 |
