Lost Dreams Chapter 9 Nina was standing at the warrobe getting her coats when the door opened and the early sunlight shone in. One of the rays hit her arm. Nina yelped and jumped back. 'Hey, what is wrong?' Howie scanned her face. 'Nothing. I just remember something.' Nina put on her coat and walked to the other girls. 'We have a problem. The sun is up.' The four other girls turned around at once and looked at each other. 'I know a way out, I think.' Jess nodded. 'I know that one too.' Lisa turned to Nick. 'Thank you for tonight. See you around.' 'Wait.' Lisa walked away following the rest of her group. Nick looked if he could see any of the guys and decided to follow Lisa. Alec opened a door and disappeared. Jess, Kathy, Nina and Lisa followed her. 'Where are you going?' Nick looked over his shoulder to see Kevin standing behind him. 'I'm following Lisa, They went that way.' 'Let's go then.' Nick stared at Kevin with a surprised look in his eyes. Kevin grabbed his arm and pulled him to the door. They walked in and descended the stairs. 'There they are.' Whispered Nick and pointed to a dark corner. Kevin and Nick walked to the door and opened it. 'Where is this leading?' 'I don't know. We shall see.' Alec stopped walking causing Kathy and Lisa to bump into her. 'What?' 'We are being followed.' 'By whom? The club was almost empty when we left.' 'Sh. Listen.' The girls listened and hear voices in the distance. 'That is Nick.' Alec sighed. 'Just what we need.' 'Can we scare them?' Kathy and Nina started jumping up and down. 'No, you can't.' The girls waited until the voices came closer. Alec stepped out of the darkness. 'Why are you following us?' Nick nearly jumped in Kevin's arms. 'God, you scared me.' 'Alec, you said we couldn't scare them.' Alec gave them an angry look. 'I asked a question.' 'We….I….' 'Nick saw you go in and nosey as he was he wanted to know where you were going.' 'We are going home.' 'Home?' Said Nick and Kevin in unison. 'Home.' Lisa took Nick by the hand. 'Come on I'll race you.'
