I Can't Love You Anymore Chapter 1 I woke up to total darkness. My clothes were stiff from last night’s rainfall. Curious as to where I was, I tried to get up from my resting place. Stuck..... "What in the world...." I cringed, feeling a rough rope tighten itself around my wrist. Panicking, I called out HIS name...., "Oh God! Help!" I was expecting to bleed any minute. Footsteps could be heard , sounding of thunder as it came closer and closer. A door opened to my left, permitting a flood of light to momentarily blind me. A silhouette stood in the door frame, looking menacing from my point of view. Letting my eyes adjust, I recognized the figure. Again I called out his name, but in a state of relief. He slowly walked forward, "Hey baby. What’s wrong?" "What’s wrong? What do you mean, what’s wrong? Can’t you tell?" I struggled against the ropes for emphasis. "Oh!" He laughed lightly. Then his voice took on an evil sound, "You left me. You didn’t really think I’d let you get away that easily, did you?" Feeling the ropes tighten even more, I cried out in pain, "What are you going to do to me?" "Nothing.....Just making sure you’ll forever be my lady...." A female voice could be heard in the distance. ‘It’s her!’, I thought, "She did this to me!" exclaiming and panicking even more. "Nonsense baby." With that, he headed for the door. "Wait!" I called out after him, "You aren’t going to leave me like this are you?" No answer, he continued his way to the door. The moment he reached it, he turned around and blew me a kiss... and the only sound that could be heard was the creaking of the door as he shut it behind him, permanently locking it. "Nooooo!!!!!!" My screams echoed endlessly leaving me to realize I would forever be alone.....Next: Chapter 2 |
