A BSB Fan's Dream Come True Chapter 32 *Phone numbers are fake!*Brandy Parker bounced into Kaybee Toys, captivated by the fluffy teddybears and interesting boardgames that surrounded her. She had been holding Justin's hand, but now had let go, and was running towards the aisle with the Barbie dolls. They had been shopping for approximately two hours, and already, Justin and Lance were worn out by Brandy's energy. They often wondered how a child, so short and sweet, could have more energy then a speeding train going 200 miles an hour. "Justin! Lance! Look at all these Teletubbies!" Brandy exclaimed, as she started jumping up and down. "Wow, there's a lot," Lance added, as he took the yellow one down from the shelf, and handed it to her. "Thanks," Brandy shrieked, and she sat down on the floor to play with it. "Where's JC and Joey?" Justin asked Lance, as he looked outside the store, only to see people walking around the mall. Their two bodyguards were stationed by the Nintendo games, and were expertly, discussing how to beat Nick at Mortal Combat 5. "Clothes shopping, I guess," Lance replied, as Brandy jumped in. She gave Lance a hug, and smiled. "You guys are so nice!" she exclaiming, shinig like a twinkling star. She attempted to put the teletubby back on the shelf. "So are you Brandy," Justin winked at her and she beamed. "Want an ice cream?" "Yeah! A double chocolate one with extra sprinkles!" Brandy replied smiling, and she grabbed both their hands. "I wish you guys were my big brothers. Mike is nice, but you guys actually like spending time with me like Sissie." "We can be your pretend big brothers!" Justin suggested and Brandy smiled. "Yeah! I miss Sissie though, all the time," Brandy replied softly. "She isn't home to play Barbies with me or teach me how to jump rope. Do you think she'll be home soon? She goes to the big school in September and will move far, far away from Jordan and me!" "Brandy, Emilie loves you very much," Lance told her encouragingly. "She always think of you when she's not near you." "I love Sissie too," Brandy smiled, as she piped up, when she saw the ice cream stand. "Ah! Ice cream!" "One double chocolate fudge on a sprinkled cone please," Justin ordered Brandy's ice cream, as she jumped from one side to side. "Thanks Justin!" Brandy shrieked, and she gave him a big hug. "I love ice cream!" She took a big bite, and it started dibbling down her chin. Lance grabbed some napkins for her, and they sat down at a nearby bench. "So what grade are you in?" Lance asked her. "Grade three this year!" Brandy said proudly. "I am getting so old!" "If you're getting old, then I feel like a grandpa!" Lance laughed and Brandy squealed giggling. "Sissie!" Brandy shrieked, as she saw her older sister, walking along the other side of the mall with Nick. She got up, and ran towards her, ice cream cone and all. "Brandy, hi!" Emilie laughed, as her little sister flew into her arms, as Nick grabbed her ice cream cone before it dropped. "Sissie! Guess what? Lance and Justin bought me ice cream and I met Britney Spears!" Brandy screamed. "Great Brandy!" Emilie replied, as she looked at Lance and Justin, her eyes twinkling. "Sissie, want to get matching outfits for the concert tonight?" Brandy whispered into her ear. "Sure!" Emilie replied, taking her hand. "Guys, Brandy and I are going shopping! Want to meet somewhere for lunch?" "Yeah sure," Nick replied, as he handed Brandy her ice cream cone. "How about O'Toole's?" "Sure," Emilie replied. "Bye!" She smiled at them once, and then they headed off towards the Gap. "That kid is really great," Justin told Nick. "Yeah, Em and her are just alike," Nick nodded happily. "What to go check out some video games or something?" "Actually, I was thinking of looking for some females," Justin replied, winking at them. "It's been a while since I have actually been on a real date and I think I need one. Lance, what about you?" "Come on man," Lance answered, as he blushed. "You know Danielle and I are still going strong." "Seriously?" Nick asked him, as they walked into the cd store. "I thought you two broke up." "We did, but now we are sorta back together," Lance replied, and he handed to the back of the store, leaving them behind. Britney left rehearsal and headed back with Charissa and Tanya for a quick dip in the motel pool. They got into a van that was lended to them, as Tanya and Charissa chatted it up. Britney felt empty inside though. She saw Nick with Emilie, and even some odd couple on the street, and the emotions of her ex-boyfriend came flooding back to her. It wasn't that she missed him, but she missed the whole concept of having someone special in her life, to share all the intimate moments. "Brits, are you okay?" Charissa asked her, and she turned to her blonde haired friend. "Yeah, I'm great," Britney replied, and Charissa frowned. "Okay, I'm not. Do you guys miss having a boyfriend?" "Sometimes," Tanya answered thoughtfully. "But, I like the fact that I'm single. I get to go out with several fly guys with no pressure!" "But, that gets old after a while, doesn't it?" Britney asked them and Tanya nodded. "Brits, why not ask out someone?" Charissa suggested and Britney blushed. "Who though?" Britney wanted to know. "I can't just go ask out some random guy on the street!" "Ask out Justin!" Tanya added and Britney blushed harder. "Come on guys," Britney replied, pushing her brown hair behind her ear. "I couldn't ask out Justin. That would be too wierd!" "No it wouldn't!" Charissa cried. "You have been friends for so long and it's just so perfect." "I know Justin too well," Britney said, as they arrived at the motel from the venue. "We are just like brother and sister." "Britney, friends always make the best lovers!" Tanya winked at her and they headed into the motel. They walked into see about 10 fans, chilling by the motel's front desk, obviously checking in for the night. "Brits, stay low!" "Okay," Britney whispered, and she walked behind Charissa and Tanya and two bodyguards. The fans glanced at them for a moment, but then, kept walking towards their motel rooms. They were probably looking for the guys as usual, although Britney had accumulated many new fans over the last few years. They headed up to their motel rooms, as Britney went into the one she was in by herself, and Charissa and Tanya shared a room. "Brits, see you in five, okay?" Tanya asked her and she nodded slightly. She walked in quietly, and collapsed on the white, lace comforter, and closed her eyes for a moment. She saw an image of Justin appear in front of her eyes, and opened them quickly. She sat up and didn't see anyone around her. "Britney! You have to stop this!" Britney said outloud, walking to her suitcase. She grabbed her pink bikini, and headed to the washroom to put it on. She came back out, and grabbed a beach towel, a pair of brown sandals, and a t-shirt that she put on. "Hey Britney?" someone said knocking on her door, and she looked through the peephole to see Joey and JC standing there. JC was like a big brother to her, and Joey was becoming one. She was glad to be on tour with them. "Hi guys," Britney said cheerfully, as she opened the door. "What are you up to?" "Nothing much," Joey replied. "We ditched Lance, Justin, and Brandy at the mall." "Oh guys," Britney shook her head. "Brandy is so cute!" "Yeah, she is," Joey agreed smiling. "So, what are you and the ladies doing?" "Swimming," Britney answered shortly, as she saw Joey start drooling when he saw Tanya and Charissa appear at the door in some bikinis. "Joey, wipe that drool off your mouth!" "Uh-yeah!" Joey stammered, blushing brightly, and Tanya giggled. "Blond moment Tanya?" Britney asked her and Tanya blushed herself. "How about we go swimming too?" Joey suggested, the question directed mostly at Tanya. "I'll come with you!" Tanya exclaimed gleefully, and they walked off towards his motel room. "JC, does it ever end?" Britney laughed, as she shut her hotel room door. "Nah, I guess not!" JC laughed too, and smiled at her. "Well, I'm going to take a nap or something. Do you know if Ariale left yet?" "Yeah she did," replied Britney. "Aren't AJ and her together?" "I think so," JC shrugged his shoulders. "Well ladies, have fun swimming!" "Have fun sleeping!" Charissa replied, and they headed in separate directions. Britney and Charissa walked towards the elevator and got on. The doors closed slowly, and they started going on to the lobby floor. Suddenly, the elevator stopped abruptly, and the emergency lights popped on. "Omigosh! What's going on?" Britney shrieked, as she grabbed Charissa's arm. "The elevator stoppeed," Charissa replied back calmly. She grabbed the help phone and telephoned the repair shop. "Yeah?" the person said rudely. "We are stuck in the elevator!" Charissa snapped back. "Can you get us out now?" "Well sweetheart, we only have two repairmen on today, so you are going to help to wait your turn!" he answered. "Excuse me, but we have a concert in four hours, and we need to be out!" Charissa shrieked. "And who's concert is it?" he wanted to know, laughing. "Britney Spears asshole!" Charissa snapped back. "Okay, well, I will send out the repair guy now, but if Britney Spears doesn't get out that elevator, you are going to be kicked out of the motel!" he snapped back, and slammed down the fall. "What did he say?" Britney asked, as she sank down to one of the corners of the elevator. "That he's sending someone up right now because you are Britney Spears," Charissa replied smoothly, and sat down beside her."I have my cell phone! Cool!" She took it out of her cell phone and watched gleefully, as the lights buzzed on. "Who should we call?" Britney asked. "Justin?" Charissa teased her and Britney gave her a Look. "How about Nick?" "Yeah, his number is 555-8978," replied Britney and Charissa dialed his number. "Hello?" Nick asked, answering his phone. "Hi Nick! It's Britney and Charissa! How are you?" Charissa asked him. "Fine, where are you?" Nick answered, as they heard Brandy's laugh in the background. "In an elevator!" Charissa answered calmly and she heard Nick gasp. "What? An elevator? Where?" Nick wanted to know, panicking. "At the motel, no big deal," Charissa answered. "Would you mind calling the motel and telling them to get us out?" "Sure!" Nick answered and Charissa hung up. "They are going to worry about us now!" Britney told Charissa and she shrugged. "Char!" "Brits, Justin was there!" Charissa winked at her and Britney sighed inwardly. "Ariale, I miss you too!" AJ told her, as he kissed the phone. He was walking out of the gym with Howie, after they had done a big work-out in the gym. He pressed the end button. "Everything good?" Howie asked him, and he nodded smiling. "I wish I could say the same about Kelly." "Why? What's new with her?" AJ asked, as they walked into the motel's bar to get a drink and some lunch. "Well, her abusive boyfriend contacted her and sweet talked to her," Howie answered, as the waistress seated them. "I called her at the hospital yesterday and he answered the phone." "What did the bastard say?" AJ wanted to know, as he thanked the waitress for the menus. "He said to get a life and leave Kelly alone!" Howie replied. "I thought she wanted to leave him." "Man, you need a women bad!" AJ commented, as he glanced over his menu. "How about we go clubbing in the Big Apple and pick you up a fine lady?" "AJ, I don't want a fine lady, okay, maybe I do," Howie replied honestly. "I am looking for someone I can spend the rest of my life with. I'm going to be 26 next month. I don't need some little puppy romance. I want a real woman." "Yeah, I see what you're saying," AJ nodded. "Maybe we can go to a classier club like a jazz one." "Katie! Get over here young lady!" yelled an unfamiliar women, and they both turned to see a beautiful Japanese little girl, running towards them, with her silky black hair bouncing and her bright brown eyes shining. "Hi!" Katie said to Howie, and she smiled at him. "Mommy! Look! Backbeat boy!" "Katie, honey, you shouldn't bother people!" her mother said, and Howie glanced at the beautiful Japanese women in front of him. She was about 23 and she had chin-length black hair, the same brown eye's as Katie's, and was wearing a conservative brown suit. "That's okay," Howie replied, as Katie smiled at him. "Hi Katie! How are you?" "Good!" Katie replied, as she smiled at him. "Mommy! Do you know the Backbeat Boys? Well, this is Howie!" "Backbeat boys?" her mom looked confused. "Backstreet Boys," Howie replied and her eyes lit up. "Oh okay, hi!" Katie's mom smiled. "I'm so sorry she bothered you. She just loves your music so much." "No problem at all," Howie replied, as Katie started talking to AJ. "My name is Howie and this is AJ. What's yours?" "I'm Dalilia Westwood," she answered. "Katie and I are on a mini vacation." "Dalilia is a beautiful name," Howie commented, as the waitress came over to their table. "Thanks," Dalilia replied smiling. "Well, Katie and I are going to get some lunch of our own. Coming Katie?" "Mommy, can I stay longer, pretty please?" Katie asked beaming. "You can eat with lunch with us!" AJ suggested, and Howie nodded in agreement. "Are you sure? I don't want to intrude or anything," Dalilia replied reluctantly. "Can you please get us two more menus?" Howie asked the waitress and she nodded. She hurried away to go get them, as Dalilia sat down beside Howie. "Thanks so much," Dalilia offered a smile, as she sipped the water on the table. "Katie and I have been running around for the whole, entire morning looking for her father's house, but we haven't been successful! Do you know the Hartford area at all?" "We could give it a try," Howie offered and she gave him the address. "This is his house," she told him, and Howie looked down to see the same address as the concert venue. "I'm sorry Dalilia, but that is the address of our concert venue tonight," Howie told her gently and she went white. "He did it again!" she sighed. "What a total jerk." "Did what?" AJ let it slip out of his mouth, and Howie sent him a silent Look. "Katie's father has given me the wrong address twice for his house, and both times it was wrong," Dalilia answered, as she took her cell phone out of her purse. "I have to call my mother and explain the situation. Do you mind watching Katie for a second?" "No problem," Howie assured her, and she excused herself to the motel lobby. "AJ, is this too wierd or what?" "Howie? My mommy thinks you're sexy!" Katie informed him, as she smiledat him. "Did you know my mommy is a lawyer? She makes million dollars a year. My daddy is a banker. He is president of the bank where we live!" "That's nice Katie," Howie told her and she smiled brightly. "How old are you?" "I'm five and mommy is 26!" Katie answered excitedly. "Mommy is so cool! So, is your concert tonight?" "Yeah, want to go?" AJ asked her and she nodded. "I can get you some tickets if your mommy will let you go!" "Super cool!" Katie shrieked, as Dalilia hurried back to the table. "My mom is so mad as well!" Dalilia exclaimed, as she sat down at the table. "I can't believe he wouldn't even want to see his little girl! Anyway, I think Katie and I are going to have a nice little vacation by ourselves! Righ honey?" "Right Mom!" Katie gave her the thumbs up sign. "Honey, what would you like to eat?" "Mommy, you know I love chicken fishies!" Katie giggled. "AJ, you have dirty marks on your arms! Maybe you should take a bath!" Dalilia blushed as everyone's eyes focused on AJ's expressive tattoos. "These are tattoos," AJ explained to Katie. "Oh! Cool!" Katie cried, and she grabbed a spare pen on the table and started colouring on her placemat. "I'm sorry!" Dalilia apologized. "Katie has a big imagination for such a little child." "That's okay," AJ replied smiling, as the waitress came over to the table again. "Go ahead Katie." "I'll have chicken fishies and a strawberry daquiri, minus the alcohol please!" Katie ordered, as Dalilia smiled at her daughter. "I'll have the same but with alcohol!" AJ ordered, and Dalilia and Howie ordered. The waitress took the menus and strolled away. "So, are you here for a concert?" Dalilia asked Howie and AJ, relaxing in her chair. "Yes," Howie answered. "We told Katie we would give her a ticket if you wanted to go." "Actually, that sounds like fun!" Dalilia commented, as Katie big brown eyes looked up excited. "Katie, want to go to the Backstreet Boys concert tonight?" "Oh yes!" Katie shrieked loudly. "So cool!" "It's a date then," Dalilia replied. "Where do I pay for the tickets?" "It's on us, and I'll get you two front row seats after lunch," Howie promised them and Dalilia beamed at him. "Mommy, can I get a tattoo like AJ?" Katie asked her. "I want a rainbow though!" "Sorry honey," Dalilia answered. "You'll have to be a little bit older." "Okay, I'll get one when I'm six!" Katie commented and smiled widely at them all. "Sissie? I want to go see a movie!" exclaimed Brandy, as they headed back to the motel. "Brandy, we have the concert tonight, remember?" Emilie replied, as Brandy climbed onto her lap. They were riding in a grey van with Nick and her in the middle bench, and Lance and Justin in the back. "Oh yeah!" Brandy replied brightly, and she yawned. "Sissie, I am really tired!" Emilie watched her eyes droop and she fell asleep on her sister's fuzzy white cardigan. Brandy and her had headed to Gap and they had bought matching flowered skirts that were a powder blue and had light pink and yellow rosebuds on them, and they had bought a matching cardigan and yellow t-shirts to go underneath them. "She has finally slowed down!" Justin commented. "She is just like Steven." "Tell me about it!" Emilie answered. "But, I am glad she's here with me. I have missed her a lot!" "Family is the most important part of life," Lance commented and they all agreed. They heard some screams as they approached the motel and saw about 50 fans standing outside the motel. "Have you heard from Britney?" Emilie asked Nick, as they headed around behind the back of the motel. "No," replied Nick, as he wrapped his arm around her shoulders. "I hope they got her out of the elevator!" "Poor Britney," Justin said softly in the back, so only Lance could hear him. Lance glanced at him for a moment, and Justin blushed, and looked away. "Me too," Emilie said. "Would one of you guys mind taking Brandy? I would like to go to the front desk and see what's going on with the elevator and Britney." "I'll take Brandy," Lance suggested, as Emilie handed her to him, and she grabbed Nick's hand. They ran towards the front desk, as screaming could be heard from the back of the motel. "Emilie, up the stairs!" yelled Nick, but she ignored him. She ran towards the front of the motel, and saw about 30 fans in the lobby, crying and screaming. She kept a low profile, and headed towards the front desk. "Can I help you? If you are here to know which rooms the Backstreet Boys or 'N Sync are in, you won't get that out of me!" the front desk clerk snapped at her and Emilie looked at her. "I know what rooms they are staying in because I am staying with them," Emilie answered back calmly. "I'm Emilie and all I want to know is if Britney Spears and Charissa Goldburg are still on the elevator!" "Yes they are Ms.Parker," the front desk answered. "We are doing everything we can to make sure the situation gets under control!" "Thank you very much," Emilie replied. "Do you have a phone up in the elevator?" "Of course we do," she replied. "The number is 555-3876 and you can use this phone right here!" "Thanks," Emilie smiled, and she heard a frantic Britney answer. "Hello?" Britney cried. "Britney, it's Emilie," she told her. "Are you guys okay? The motel is doing everything they can to make sure you get out." "Em, it's so good to hear your voice!" Britney cried back. "Char and I have been waiting for about an hour! It's horrible." "Stay calm Britney," Emilie coaxed her, when suddenly she heard Charissa let out a leap of joy. "It's moving!" Charissa shrieked, as she embraced Britney in a hug. "Yes! Tell Emilie to meet us at the elevator doors!" "Okay!" Emilie told her, and she thanked the clerk for the phone. She ran towards the first floor elevator, through a sea of fans. They all stared at her, recognizing her in a minute, and then ran to catch her quickly. She ran towards where she saw Lonnie and some other bodyguards situated and she ran through them. "Go ahead Em!" Lonnie told her, and they stopped the fans from coming towards them. Emilie turned and smiled at them, and went to wait at the elevator. She heard the buzz go, and within two minutes, she saw Charissa and Britney appear in front of her. Britney and her embraced each other, and then Charissa for a three way hug. "Are you okay?" Emilie asked them. "Yes," Britney replied. "Char, are you?" "No big deal!" Charissa laughed, as they turned to see Joey and Tanya standing beside them. "What happened to you?" Joey asked them. "We got stuck in the elevator!" replied Charissa. "It's four o'clock everyone! Don't we have to go to the venue soon?" "Omigoodness yeah!" Britney replied quickly. "Char, Em, let's take the stairs!" "I'm all for that!" Emilie agreed, and they ran up six flights of stairs, and went to their separate rooms to get ready for the concert. She saw Britney's manager talking to the motel manager about the elevator incident and things weren't going to pleasant. Emilie went into her and Brandy's room, and she saw Nick with her in there. Brandy was sleeping on her bed, with the covers tucked up to her chin. Nick was reading a comic book, and he smiled at her when she came in. "Did Britney get out?" he asked her, as he walked over, and embraced her. "She sure did!" Emilie answered, kissing his cheek. "I'm going to get Brandy up, so we can get ready for the concert tonight." "Okay, I'll go to my room, and see you in about half an hour?" Nick asked her, and she nodded. "Oh Nick, thanks," Emilie told him, and he stopped. "Thanks for what hun?" Nick asked her. "Thanks for watching Brandy and for being there for me," Emilie answered simply, and she started to shake her little sister to get her up. "No problem Em," Nick winked at her, and he walked over to her. "Come here." He wrapped his arms around her again, and they shared a butterfly kiss on the lips. "Sissie?" Brandy groaned, as she rubbed her eyes. "Bye," Nick whispered into her ears. He slipped out the door, as Brandy looked at her sister with wide eyes. "Brandy, time to get ready for the concert!" Emilie told her cheerfully. "Okay! Yay!" Brandy shrieked, and she bounced out of bed. "Remember, my hair has to be in pigtails!" "Okay!" Emilie agreed enthusiastically... *Did any of you watch the PPV concert? Just wondering! I did and it was awesome!*Next: Chapter 33 |
