Going Home Chapter 4 "Kim, wake up.." Erika tapped Kimberley up from her sleep. "God Erika...it's too early," Kim mumbled. "C'mon...how did your date with Nick go?" Erika asked. Kim suddenly shot up from under her sheets and sat up. She smiled at Erika. "Well? Looks like it went well.." Erika laughed. "Yes it did..and I kissed him! Oh my gosh!" Kim said excitedly. "Well, I came home from the movies and I saw you and Lance sleeping in the den...where'd he go?" "Oh...he just left. Gosh Kim...he is so nice and special. What a gentleman." Erika giggled. "I'm happy for you. Hmm...thank you so much for inviting me Erika..this is a dream come true. I mean, whoever knew I'd get to go out on a date with Nick Carter. I'm satisfied now...." Kim hugged a pillow to her chest. "Girl...that's not it. He's downstairs waiting for you now. He's taking you out for a day of fun." Erika gave her the good news. "What? Nuh uh. You sure?" Kim asked Erika seriously. "Yes...he's talking to Kevin right now. You better get dress. Don't wanna be late." Erika hit Kim's foot. "Thank you so much Erika..what about you and Lance?" Kim asked. "Oh..well, we're just hanging around today. He's introducing me to his friends." "Really? Wow..that sounds cool. I can't believe this...but we have to go back in 5 weeks. I don't want to. But I'm gonna enjoy my stay here. I really want to have fun so I hope Nick doesn't get too serious about us..because I don't want to." Kim looked at Erika seriously. "What? Why not?" "Cuz! I...you know me E, I can't stand hurting people. And you know, I don't want to get attach to him...then I'll have to cry and stuff. That's embarassing." Kim blushed. "Awwwh...c'mon. Just have fun. Don't think of anything okay? I mean..5 weeks is far away. Just enjoy your stay. And if you need anything...tell me and I'll ask Kev for it," Erika laughed. "Okay...I will thanks. I feel so sorry for Kevin to have you as a sister. I think he's spoiling us." Kim laughed and hugged Erika. "Go on Sister...he's waiting for you downstairs." Kim got dressed and ready and went to greet Nick and Kevin who treated her like a sister. Kim wore a comfortable fitted Khakis and a bikini bra with a white long sleeve shirt outside, unbutton. Nick took her out on a day at the beach."Everyone...this is Erika." Lance introduced Erika to his friends. "Hi, I'm Justin." Justin came up to her and gave her a hug. "JC...nice to meet you." He gave her a kiss on her cheek. "Joey..." he gave her a hug. "Chris...lovely perfume." he gave her a hug. Erika was in heaven. She just touched 'Nsync! She just stared at each one of them. Realizing how handsome each gentlemen were. "Hi! Wow..'Nsync eh?" She just laughed. "Yup...you much feel special." Lance gave her a kiss on her forehead. "Trust me...I do. It's like a dream come true." She giggled. "Well, how about we start getting to know you better Erika." JC suggested and they start to talk. Erika was having a blast. The guys were making her laugh the whole day."So you have always been a spoiled brat?" Kim asked. "Naww..you can't say that. I've always thank my parents and God for what they gave me." Nick answered. "Well, you are one lucky man Nick Carter." She smiled at him. "Well, what about you...you seem pretty spoiled to me." Nick laughed. "Me? No way...I am not spoil. I was raised up by a single mother. My father ran out on her so she had to support me. Thank God, I was the only child. I can't imagine my mom having to raise up a lot of us." Kim laughed and then she was silenced. "Sorry..." "Oh no...I turned out pretty well. Kept my head up and earned a full scholarship to college. Everything worked out pretty well." Kim smiled at him. "Wow..you mom must be proud of you." "She is..." Kim nodded her head. "So are we going to sit here all day, going through my sad stories?" She laughed. The two were at the beach....sitting on the sand. "I was just wondering if you might want to take a stroll...you know..I never had a chance to talk to you. Our first date at the movie theaters didn't really gave us a chance to talk." He grinned. "Yeah..you're right. C'mon." Kim got up from the sand and took his hand. The two started to walk down the beach hand in hand. They talked about everything."No! Lance ran into me! And then he asked me out on a date. That's what happened!" Erika laughed. "No! She ran into me. And then find me so cute...she asked me out!" Lance conviced the guys. Erika shot him a look. "Okay..so maybe I lied...I did ran into her and asked her out." "Much better." Erika pinched his cheek. "So you're Kevin's sister?" Justin asked. "Yeah...anything wrong with that?" "No...of course not. It's cool. Everything's cool" Justin grinned. "So does he have anymore sisters?" Everyone just started to laugh. "No, funny boy." Erika continued to laugh. "So you're just visiting?" Joey asked. "Yeah...I brought a friend too..her name is Kimberley...but only for 5 weeks, and just in time for Kevin's wedding." "Oh yeah...we heard about that...we're invited!" JC smiled. "Kimberley eh? How old is she?" Justin asked. "17! What is wrong with you Justin?!!" Erika laughed. "For get him Erika...he's going through that 'I need a girl' stage." Lance said and everyone laughed at Justin. "Well, we're gonna let you two have the rest of the day together." Chris said and they all left the house together. Lance looked at Erika and was about to came closer to kiss her when Justin appear behind the couch. "Hey Erika? Can you introduced me to Kimberley?" Justin asked. Erika laughed at him and Lance just pushed him out of there way.. "God Justin..get out already." Justin walked off to catch up with the other guys and Lance looked back at Erika. He gave her a kiss on her lips and both started to crack up about Justin. "I should tell him that Kim has a thing for Nick." Erika laughed. "And I have a thing for you." Lance kissed her again. "You know what? Let Curly find out for himself." "You're mean!" Erika got up and ran away from him. "No I'm not!" Lance chased her. He caught her and through her on the couch gently. He was about to get on top of her to kiss her but she pushed him out. "Yes you are mean! And I'm getting hungry...you wanna go get something to eat?" "Yeah...let's go..." Lance helped her up and they left to a resturant.Kim and Nick was walking out of a resturant and Nick took her back to the
guys apartment that he shared with the other Backstreet Boys. |
