Mandy worked as a secretary to the MD of a media company and this day started out like any other. She arrived at work first and opened up the office, a few minutes later her boss came in, good morning Mr Camden said Mandy, good morning he replied then added you look lovely as usual, are they new ankle boots, yes said Mandy. I bought them Saturday do you like them? Oh yes they are nice and I like the fur detail on the top, yea said Mandy they are different that is why I bought them. Mr Camden then went into his office and Mandy started to sort of the morning mail, about half an hour later a guy came into the office carrying a large case and a laptop in a shoulder bag. He said to Mandy good morning I’m Joe Brown from C.G.I Ltd and I have an appointment with Mr Camden. Oh yes Mandy says as she gets up and walks over to her boss’s office door, then knocks on it as she opens the door, her boss looks up and Mandy says your 9.30 is here, ok show him in he says. Mandy turns and says this way Mr Brown and he goes into the office, then Mandy closes the door and goes back to her desk.
The rep introduces him self and tell Mr Camden about the new produces he has brought with him. Then he opens up the case and gets out the 3D scanner from the large case. This is the new scanner I was telling you about and puts it on the desk, then gets out the laptop and connects it, I have some new software on here too. It was now ready for scanning he said as he gets out a plastic cup and puts it into the scanner, after a few minutes it had scanned it into the laptop.
Joe then demonstrate what the software program can do, he adds you can scan in just about anything including textured objects including hair and fur, the program can animate the object and even make fur blow in the wind, I could show you but I don’t have anything like fur to scan in.
Just at that moment Mandy comes into the office and she says sorry to intrude but you want these reports as soon as possible. Joe, seeing the fur top ankle boots Mandy was wearing said I don’t suppose I could borrow one of your boots for about 10 minutes, Mandy looked at him in a puzzle way and said why would you want my boot? Joe expanded about the new scanner and the fur on her ankle boot. Mandy was still not too sure, then her boss said it’s ok if you don’t want to take one boot off. But it would be a great help if you would, since it was now her boss that was asking she smiled and lifted her right leg and unzipped her right boot, then slipped it off of her nylon covered foot. She handed her boot to Joe, thanks he said zipping up her boot before placing it into the 3D scanner.
Just then the phone rang so Mandy went back into her office closing the door behind her, since she was wearing one high heeled ankle boot and one bare nyloned foot she walked on tiptoes on her bootless foot so she could maintain a level walk. In the mean time Joe put her boot into the 3D scanner and demonstrated what the software could do.
