Patrick Stewart Says X-Men 3 in 2005

"... a younger generation of viewers knows Stewart best not as Captain Picard, but as Professor Charles Xavier, from the two blockbuster X-Men pictures, the latter of which opened in 2003. 'X-Men 3 should come out in 2005,' Stewart said on the red carpet. During the discussion inside the theater he said he hoped the franchise continues for several more films."

"X-Men producer Lauren Shuler Donner said she was developing X-Men 3 and planned to follow it up with the Wolverine movie, with Jackman starring in both. 'The ideal thing will be to do Wolverine after X-Men 3 and that's what we plan to do,' Shuler Donner said. 'We'll probably develop Wolverine at the same time, but we'll do X-3 then we'll do Wolverine.'"
